Chapter Thirty~Eight

Gabriella's POV:

I came outside to see the two alphas throwing daggers at each other.

All the packs members are gone, maybe in a safe place for these two to fight peacefully.

"Matteo! " I called out his name running up to him.

But I didn't get the chance as I was being pulled by another arm away from Matteo.

Clover.

He was smirking while my back was against his chest.

"She's mine and am here to retrieve her, so get lost! " Clover yelled at Matteo.

I tried jerking free but it didn't work.

"Retrieve? Seriously, what is she to you? A thing? " Matteo asked getting angry. "Give her to me and I won't kill you. " he threatened.

I heard a menacing laughter that held no humor.

"Give her to you? I will fight you even if it means I only get to wound you before I die. " he growled.

Matteo have had enough of patience to lose and just started walking towards him.

"Stay back you fool! I'll mark her right now if you don't! " Clover threatened.

I guess no matter how you desire something you can't always have it but in the end that thing gets dented anyways.

Just like me, am about to get marked by this.... I don't even know what to call him!!

"If you do, I'll enjoy every second I use to cut out your limbs slowly. " Matteo said now snarling.

"Try me. " Clover dared bringing his face close to my neck.

"Anywhere is perfect but where you had marked her is more perfect. " Clover stated.

He was gonna mark me where Matteo did.

No please!

I looked at Matteo with watery eyes and he stopped at his tracks.

I know if clover wasn't here Matteo would run to me and hold me.

And that's just what I need right now, someone to lean on and cry to like a baby.

"Okay, why don't we talk things out? " Matteo asked.

I heard another laughter before Clover said. "Talk things out? " he laughed again.

Okay it will take only this inch before I slap Clover.

I don't like his laugh.

"Let me go you fucker!! " I growled at him.

Wait why am I struggling?

We are all alphas here, including me.

But am an alpha lady.

But even though, am as strong as they are.

Ashley take control and rip out this idiot arms.

'Okay. '

I have Ashley full control and in a blink of an eye, she zoomed off his arms and into Matteo's.

"Get back here!! " Clover barked loudly.

Ashley gave me back control and I looked at him.

"Fuck you. " I said giving him the middle finger.

He was tackled from the back by Eli.

OMG! I missed him.

But wait, where's Trisha?

"Baby, go with the guards back home, am coming. " Matteo said looking at me and cupping my cheeks.

"But what about you? " I asked.

This is that part of the story where I don't wanna park take in.

"I have to handle him here and we're in a foreign packs territory. " he explained.

But I don't wanna leave him.

"I won't leave you, no! " I yelled at him.

We heard a grunt and our heads snapped towards Clover.

He was fighting head on with Eli in wolf form.

"Baby, there's no time to talk. Go with them! " he said and left to join the fight.

I was being carried by the gamma I don't even know about through out my life living here.

The car started as I looked out the windows, crying as I saw my mate in wolf form.

They were hitting, scratching and howling at each other while the car zoomed off making the scene disappear more and more.

I closed my eyes to zoom all the bad things I've ever experienced in my life time and dozed off.

My next story, is already written and I will be publishing it right after I finish writing this story's epilogue.
