What Do I Say?

First day of school

WooHoo! First day at my new school! This year is going to be awesome! My friends go to this school, my class is awesome, and.....hey.....whose that guy? He's cute! Wait, woah woah woah....he's related to Sarah?! Sarah's one of my best friends!........I snap back into reality as my friend Rachel nudges me and points toward Mr. Wall during assembly. "Whose that?" I whisper to Rachel nodding my head in the direction of the attractive guy who just walked in. "That's Eric." she replied. "Cara! Rachel! shhh!" Said Laura sitting across from us. I stared at Eric all through assembly. I dont even remember what Mr. Wall said. We had to stand up for the Pledge of Allegiance, I put my hand over my heart nd started saying it, but still looking at Eric. "psssst!" Said Laura "He's not a flag!" I smiled like it was a joke. but didn't pay any attention. We went our classes. Eric and I awkwardly walked next to eachother. "Hi...Im Cara." I said awkwardly. "Oh, um...Im Eric." I grinned stupidly. He walked into the class room next to mine. and school started. Why does time go way slower when the teacher is talking about math? But seem to run out of time when he's telling us his life story? I wouldn't know...i didn't really listen to either, all I had on my mind was Eric. "By the end of the semester we will be dating!" I thought....or hoped i guess. At lunch, we ran into eachother. "Hey, you wanna come eat with us?" Eric asked my eyes grew wider. My heart sank once I heard "yeah! Id love to!" coming from behind me. It was John. He was waiting for me to move out of his way. At 12:45 we had to go back inside. I had a class with Sarah, she saved me a seat. "Hey, I forgot my pencils in the other class room...can I borrow one of yours?" I asked Sarah. She pulled out one and handed it to me. I mouthed "Thank you!" she just smiled. At 3:20 when we finally got out of class, Mr. Wall told us we had to clean the class room. We needed a vacume. I could hear it near-by. I looked in the next room. Eric was using it. i walked in. "Hey, Eric? Can we use the vacume? When your done, of course!" He nodded, unplugged the vacume, and wheeled it into the next room. I remembered that I still had Sarah's pencil. "Oh! Eric! Before I forget! can you give this to Sash for me?" I reached into my backpack and grabbed the mechanical pencil my friend had let me borrow, and handed it to him.
