The edge. A question. A area society dare not tread. But I always wanted to look. I mean, just a peek. But that is just a wish. Here in our town, the only town. We live life quietly. Never questioning the way our world works and why our government is so secret. They run our town. We are populated with 15,000. So it's not much of a town, too big for a, " town. " A district, you could say.
15,000 isn't much. But it's all that is left of us. After the... attack.. We lost everything. Civilization went to chaos. Friend turned on friend. Our old population was 345,000. We know there are more of our out there, past the edge. Dying? Maybe, we don't know. We can't go look. But I seem to be the only one concerned by that. The fact that our government doesn't want us to go looking for survivors. They say it's, " unknown what lies out there.."
But I don't think it is, I think they are hiding something.
