1955 - Anya Ivanova

Hydra agents surrounded the chamber where The Dark Agent and Winter Soldier stood, freezing, unconscious. They hadn't aged a day since they were jammed into the small boxes by Johann Schmidt ten years ago. The Soldier was still physically twenty-eight, while the Agent was twenty-five.

One of the Hydra Agents defrosted their containers, after a few moments they both woke up in a state of shock and confusion. The brainwash had worn off and each pair of eyes met the others, they knew who they were; for a very brief moment they knew.

Cara lunged at James in hopes to embrace him, but the new director of Hydra stepped in and grabbed her. She looked at Bucky's arm when he attempted to embrace her, he swung it at anyone getting in the way of them. He ripped the man grabbing Cara off of her and pulled her close to him. His arms wrapped around her waist as he buried his head into her neck. As for Cara, her arms were around his neck, hoping the hug could last for the rest of their lives.

However, all good things must come to an end and their embrace was very short lived. All the men around them stood up and tore them from each other's arms, bringing them to separate rooms. Both rooms were the home to a machine meant to wipe any and all memories. The director went with The Soldier and a woman went with The Agent. In her hands was a black book with a purple star imprinted on it.

The woman had blonde hair that was pulled back in a ponytail and she wore glasses with a black frame above her blue eyes. Her lab coat sleeve read: "Ivanova" underneath the octopus Cara had grown to hate. This woman was one of the scientists who worked for Hydra.

"Don't try anything," The woman said, "My name is Anya Ivanova."

Cara said nothing, she simply rolled her eyes at this information. Cara was in the chair with no restraints, something new for Hydra. She stood from the dangerous throne and started to run to the door in an attempt to find Bucky. Anya kicked one of the rolling chairs to stop Cara in her tracks.

Cara scoffed and stepped around it, however, before she knew it the woman had her legs wrapped around Cara's head and slammed her to the ground. Cara didn't recognize this maneuver, in all her years of training, nobody had ever done a move so swift and gentle yet effective. Cara was stunned, where did this woman come from and how did she know how to fight?

"Sit down," Anya ordered.

Obedience had never really been one of Cara's key strengths, so she ran to the door again. Anya sighed and stepped in front of her smoothly. Ivanova rolled up the sleeves to her lab coat.

"Really?" Cara said, "You just had to roll up your sleeves?"

"Ah, the experiment speaks," Anya said, sarcastically.

This woman had begun to get on Cara's nerves, Cara swung at the woman's face. Easily anticipated by the woman, Anya grabbed Cara's arm and pinned it behind her back, then pushed her forward.

"Sit, so I don't need to make you," Anya said.

Cara was now pissed, the woman rolled her eyes and tried to get Cara to sit under the machine. Cara pulled the woman's hand from her shoulder and threw her over Cara's shoulder and the woman soared through the air before her back hit the table and all the papers resting on that table fell to the floor along with Anya.

Anya was facing the floor on her hands and knees, Cara approached her and lifted her chin. Pulling back her fist, Cara prepared to punch Anya but before she could Anya swung her legs around tripping Cara so she was flat on her back. Anya climbed onto Cara and started to punch her. Blood splattered from Cara's face onto the woman's white lab coat.
