I didn't get much sleep last night, I had fun making sure Ella wouldn't communicate with Nicolas for the rest of the day yesterday. She was worn out, falling asleep in a matter of seconds when we finished.
Waiting for her to wake up, I finished the rest of yesterdays work that I had missed and todays work so that all I could focus on was Ella.
Someone had knocked on my door, "Lucifer?"
It sounded like Oliver, I hadn't spoken with him in a while so I thought now would be an okay time to communicate with him, "Come in."
He opened the door with a smile, "Good morning!"
I looked up at him, "You seem very happy this morning, is it something special?"
"No," he replied, shaking his head, "It's nothing special. I do have a question for you though."
"Hurry up and ask your question."
"Okay, do you think I can take the day off today?" he asked.
"Why do you need the day off?"
"Well because Nico—"
The sound of me hitting my desk stopped him for speaking any more.
"If I hear his name come out of anyone else's mouth in the mansion again I will shoot them in the head." I grunted.
His stupid name flew around my head like cartoon birds, I hated hearing it. Sure, he tried to work things out but I was possessive, I can admit to that. I wanted him forgotten, I wanted him fucking dead.
"What is your problem with him? You got the girl and he didn't, why are you so mad at him for something he said he would never do?"
Before I responded to him, I took in what he said.
'I didn't tell him that.'
"How do you know about that?"
Oliver looked at me, eyes widening a bit. He took in deep breaths, stuttering as he tried to find the right words for his explanation.
"I will ask you again. How do you know about that, Oliver?"
"Something was troubling him," he began, "I asked what it was and he told me about the whole conversation that you guys had when you went to go stalk Ella and Nicolas."
'I'm seriously gonna fucking kill him.'
"How about we all have a day off, hm? Call him up and invite him over. While you're at it, get a snack ready for Ella for when she wakes up."
"What are you—"
"Now, Oliver."
"On it, sir." he replied, leaving the room after.
I slumped back in my chair, letting out a sigh. I know I said I didn't want him around Ella but I also needed to talk too him. And if he didn't attend, well, I knew where he lived anyway.
He could try his best to get away but I was going to talk with him one way or another, even if it meant kidnapping his dumbass.
Just as I had gotten up, I heard a thud coming from upstairs. I decided to go check that out just in case so I left the room and followed the sound of the thud.
I walked up the stairs, looking left and right in the hallway. No one seemed to be here so I knocked on the door of the room Ella was sleeping in. "Who is it?"
I opened to door, finding Ella on the floor beside her bed, "Did you fall?"
"What does it look like, dickhead?" she replied.
