It was Saturday night, Bucky was on his way to pick up Lexie. He arrived at 545 and knocked on her door.
"You look beautiful." He said when she opened the door.
"Thank you." She said
He handed her a bouquet of pink roses, "Buck.." she said
"What?" He said with a smile.
She put them in another vase, "Im running out of vases." She said as they left.
When they got to his car, he opened the door for her. When he started up the car he turned on his "Summer" playlist.
The first song that began to play, "I Don't Wanna Believe" by Hinder began to play as they headed out to RH New York Rooftop. When that song was over "Anyone But You" by Hinder began to play.
"Far Away" by Nickelback began to play as they got close to the restaurant, they parked the car. He opened the doors for her, and they went inside. Bucky made reservations so he let the hostess know.
They got to their table and placed their drink order, and appetizers. They talked about her college life, and medical school. She talked about how residency was going and he talked about the kids. After dinner they went to Central Park for a movie night, and dessert picnic. They also walked around the park.
When the night was over, he walked her to her door. "Lexie, can I have a second date?" He said
She bit her lip, "I guess so.." she said as she bit her lip again.
He kissed her forehead, "Goodnight Lexie." He whispered
She looked up at him, "Goodnight."
As he walked away, she watched as he walked and could tell he was wiping his face. She texted him and asked why he cried.
"All I wanted was to kiss you but you made it clear that you only wanted it to be as friends."
She locked her phone, and whispered "Im sorry."
On their second date, he was stunned when she opened door.
"Wow, you look amazing." He said
"Thank you." She said
They had dinner at Tao, where he flirted, was much more playful fed her sushi. After dinner they wemt to Artechouse NYC museum.
When he took her home, he leaned down and kissed her gently as he cupped her cheek. She began to kiss back. He held her waist as he gently pulled away.
"Mmm god Ive missed you." He whispered
She smiled, "Goodnight James." She whispered
"Goodnight baby." He whispered as he let her go.
