"Jennie, please stop this. Please don't do this." Taehyung begged, still standing in the doorway.

Jennie laughed, "Why would I stop? Don't I deserve to get my revenge? I was even reincarnated for this, so why would I listen to you and stop, brother?"

The king felt sad at the mockery of his younger sister's tone. He couldn't be more guilty seeing his little sister, who used to be a soft and sweet little girl, had turned into a beast- into a monster- into a murderer.

He's the only one who should be blamed for this. He knew that. That is why he would take responsibility for it. The king started walking toward Jennie, giving her a pleading look.

"Don't come near me!" Jennie yelled, but Taehyung didn't listen and continued walking toward her.

Jennie became frustrated, not because Taehyung was walking toward her, but because of the expression on his face.

She hates it. This isn't what she expected. She thought that once Taehyung learned her identity, they would be desperate to kill each other. They would be desperate to be the one who would remain standing.

She doesn't want Taehyung's apology.

She doesn't want to forgive him.

She would never forgive him.

The king didn't faze at the glare that Jennie was giving him. He had never taken his eyes off her while getting closer and closer to her.

Jennie became even more frustrated and desperate to stop her brother. She looked around and found a wooden chair to throw to the king.

That made the king step back a little bit as he looked down at his chest which had been hit by the chair. He didn't have armor, so it was painful, but the king still continued moving, ignoring the pain.

"I said don't come near me!" Jennie yelled, getting anxious for no reason. Once the king was only a few steps away from Jennie, he fell to his knees and looked up at his sister.

"I'm begging you, Jennie. Please don't do this. I'm the one who should suffer. I'll do it. I'll let you kill me, just spare the lives of my son and the other knights."

Jennie laughed out loud, "Don't you think it was already too late for that? Look, everyone's dead already." She stretched her arm, laying out her hand to the wounded bodies around her, smiling confidently.

"But even if you came here before everyone, I would not do what you wanted me to do. I will still kill your son and these people. Why? Well, they attempted to kill me, so why would I spare their lives?"

Jennie shrugged her shoulders, pursing her lips a little bit. "I just fought back. I just avenged myself and my servants. There's nothing wrong with that. Surrendering yourself won't change anything, I will still kill you mercilessly."

The king looked down at the ground, despair engulfing him as a whole.

"I know you won't forgive me no matter what I say, but I still want to apologize for what I did. I would gladly accept my death. I promise not to resist. You can literally do what you want to do. If you want to cut all of my limbs, then be it. If you want to behead me, do it."
