All he wanted was to bring joy some joy to this world even if his world was falling apart not many people new his traumas or his past, the secrets in his head he knows could cause the sanest people to crack, he just to make people smile even though he's frowning, not many people see Whats deep down inside of him because he knows they would all cry and scream the opposite of what he wants but he could never catch a break but even then gave out all the kindness he had in his heart in return to be mistreated he soon feels his self cracking turning into the monster we all fear making us question if some one like that could even be human, we all run as he laughs at us because once we walked all over him as if he was invisible but now we do everything we can to stay out of his eyesight once he was a joke to this world now where all a joke to him as he watches us all scream in fear as he puts us through all the pain he's been through but the difference between him and us no matter we have people that care and we get noticed but he's still alone, and still gets mistreated but laughs when he gets caught because he knows the moment he escapes their all going to regret trashing him because just one look at him sends fear straight down to your core.
His character to me means more then just some made up DC villain, to me it shows what some one can become when the government and society and everyone around them fails them and they don't get the proper help they need they become a victim that just makes more victims but the true villain is the people that treat them as if there just garbage and ignore every sign that they need a hand.
