Puen Is A Special Word

"We just had a connection." Noeul says in his third interview of the day. All of them fascinated by the way he had met Boss and wanting to hear the story again and again. He never tired of telling it though because he also believed it was Kismet. They were meant to become BossNoeul and he would feel that way forever. Noeul had a way of talking that was always expressive and clear, even if sometimes he failed to think about the words he said before he said them. Boss felt it was easier to let him tell the story, even more so when he was allowed to jump in and add a little something here or there. It felt like it was Noeul's story to tell, Boss had just been chosen, and was swept away by the destiny that they were both now living. They had used this connection to tap into the love between their characters and played it up for the fans, but there was a true friendship and admiration under it. Many months of workshops, carpooling, filming, promotional events, eating together, playing together, and all the in between, they were able to finish each other's sentences and know each other's moods from a glance.

Fans and even staff often joked about Boss's ability to fluster Noeul and his "flirting" even in his twitter interactions, but Boss had always thought of it as playful teasing; just goofing around. He smiled to himself thinking of all the times he had wanted to squish Noeul-

"Boss?" the host's voice brought him back to himself. "And what was your favourite scene?"

"I've always loved the singing scene- that's where Payu really confesses the first time, and I love music so it felt right to me, so lovely." He remembered all the days leading up to filming it too, singing to Nouel in the car over and over to get it just right, it was something special, not just for the characters, but for them as well. Peat teased him about being consistent and never changing his mind on which scene he liked best, where as everyone else in the cast had listed different scenes at least once or twice when asked. "okay, okay," Boss answered in his laughing way "I like the scene when Rain kicks Top in front of P'Chai, cause it is so cute and funny. It really shows who his character is."

Something in him made his hand reach out to rest on Noeul's fingers and give them a little squeeze. It was a normal interaction and he didn't even think about it, it had become akin to breathing at this point. Noeul always let him hug and touch him, he even got a few little sniff or peck kisses by surprise too, just to get the reaction and shock every time.

Of course they knew, they both knew that the fans loved their staring contests and "flirting." They would get into a groove of reacting to each other and the crowds would go wild. The acting teachers had told them that the best acting was reacting and they found that playing off another that way had really helped them tap into the dynamics between them. When Boss stood tall and looked down on Noeul he could hear the camera shutters on repeat. Noeul would giggle and Boss would push with a silly pick up line or cheesy joke that would bring out the cuteness in him. He remembered once, early on, he had asked Noeul if he could kiss his hand, and when he did everyone went wild. There was some give and take and sometimes Noeul would be the one to push Boss. He would tease and get the fans heated by saying things to take control of the ship. It was a fun game they played and understood they were bringing a piece of Payu and Rain with them. But, Boss had to admit that he did enjoy those moments outside of his feelings as Payu. He genuinely wanted to touch and tease Noeul, he didn't examine it too closely, it was just a good feeling in him, and that was enough.

They had planned to go to dinner after the last interview of the day and both went to change into their casual clothes. Boss liked to see Noeul in his own clothes best. He liked to be comfortable over the tailored looks of the stylists and it fit his easy going personality well. Today it was some baggy tie dyed pants and a grey oversized t-shirt with his usual choice of a bucket hat to cover his hair. He always looked so cute swimming in his oversized clothes and featuring his face with his hat. it made Boss clench his jaw in response, the need to tackle his friend with a hug was so strong. He knew Noeul would let him, but he still tried to hold himself back sometimes. Boss changed quickly into a pair of his favourite sweats and an old band t shirt before they headed out to the car. He always let Noeul choose where to eat because he was the more picky of the two, and Boss was convinced he could eat just about anything as long as Noeul was happy. He liked being that person for Noeul, even if he got teased for being like a little puppy following at his owner's heels.
