chapter one

hello it is me pip who is posting the first chapter here and i would like to thank you if you have decided to read this and the gratitude i will hold will be massive

please take note that currently there are no art for the two main characters yet and enjoy reading

pip's pov

It was the average rainy day in the cave that Pip lives in and Pip the little ghostie was laying down on a soft blanket that they found in a dumpster. Pip was just imagining that aut was in a sugary-sweet land with no racism and homophobia and that all was happy and peaceful though at some point, pip fell asleep and it was basically living a nightmare where all the ghosties who were once pip's friends (imaginary) suddenly turned on aut and started throwing rocks and other items which were rather painful and then pip woke up sweating and heart pounding and filled to the brim with anxiety and went over to hug the teddy bear for emotional support though it seems that the plans have changed

An uninvited guest with antlers is here. (its patchwork who's in the cave cuddling said teddy bear)(the bear was always just laying in the cave so neither of them really claimed it)

patchwork's pov

patchwork was doing some artsy kind of stuff while holding the bear and doing whatever, they were pleased with what they were making and seemed really happy but little did Patchwork know after a long hard day of getting bullied he needed a friend. Patchwork thinks to themself, an imaginary scenario where he has the perfect friend. a friend so perfect that nothing would go wrong. A friend who could be there for him and had a lot in common. Patchwork sees Pip, and he gets butterflies, he couldn't tell whether it was nervous or not, Pip seemed rather nice but was afraid. Afraid of another bully. Patchwork smiles as he pats the ground signaling Pip to come to sit.

third person

pip was frightened because it's not often that you see a stranger sitting where YOU sit and it's definitely not often and almost never that the stranger wants you to sit with them. pip sat down but didn't say anything at all so patchwork decided to start the convo with "hi im patchwork, what's your name?" but all that came in return was silence. The silence was quite terribly deafening. it had only been a couple of minutes and it felt so boring in the silence so patchwork continued to talk about stuff while also seeing if pip was listening which surprisingly pip was indeed listening so it was quite a shock when pip spoke for the first time that day to say "my name is pip" and patchwork was all completely too stunned to speak for .001 seconds

It had been a good while of patchwork talking and pip chiming in every now and then and the both of them were having such a fun and amazing time and the both of them felt really happy so patchwork felt like it was a good time to ask "do you want to be friends with me??" so with that question pip was more than shocked and nobody could ever compare to this amount of shock, nobody had EVER asked to be friends with aut but for it to be now... pip was speechless because how could any ghost ask pip to be their friend.but it's also because of the responsibility of being a friend such as being a good friend or making sure they're ok if whoever it may be is feeling upset or when it comes to agreeing on something so there was a hell of a lot of confusion in pip's mind. but on patchwork's side it was the most wild in their mind because pip was so quiet and all patchwork could think about is "are they trying to hint that they don't want to be friends with me using silence?" "do they not like me anymore?" "Was the question too sudden?" and many more questions flowed through patchwork's mind which shows that neither of the two knew what to do until patchwork heard "yes", it was quiet but patchwork knew that it was a yes to their question. and with an excited squeal patchwork gave pip the biggest hug ever and even though normally pip would tell whoever it is to stop hugging them because of paranoia today it seems that pip didn't mind, not one bit. And so The day seems to have ended happily as the sun settled down to greet the other half of the world with a bright glow showing that a miracle had happened while the moon arose to congratulate the two on becoming friends.

but there seems to be another ghostie spying on them and the two never seemed to notice.
