It was raining. Yes I know thats not a very good start, but its the truth. So if you would rather me lie to you, then go find something else to read. If you are expecting a story with puppies, unicorns, and bright feilds of flowers. That is another sign that this isn't the right thing for you to read. Now that you know how I like to tell a story let me get along with it.

On this rainy day you couldn't see very much, but you could see the faint image of a vibrant yellow house through the dark forest. Yes, ok, this house is the happy skippy part of this whole thing, but let me finnish so I can explain myself.

This house was filled with happy children, just children. Children that were happy inside even though somene special in there life had abandoned them in their younger years. There was one, though who was not happy. She had not been abandoned, she did not feel good on the inside, so of course she was different. She did not like laughing or fun, she also did not like any of the other children in the house. She wouldn't even go somewhere where there was light. Everything was dark to her. Her hair was the darkest shade of black you could ever see and her eyes were the same shade. One might call her creepy, but she liked her appearance. Her skin was just about the lightest thing on her for it was almost white. She had no freckles or pimples to counter out her white-ness. She was just white. She had her own room, if you could call it that. The room she was living in was once where the houses cleaning supplies were held on a shelf that now held all of her black shirts and pants and at night she kept her black, "Converse," up there too.

She never turned on a light, or opened the black curtains on a sunny day. Only on stormy ones like this she would look out onto the driveway at the gravel and hope that someday something would happen in her life. She didn't have to become a princess like all the other girls wanted, just something good or bad that could make her life different, even if it was just for a moment. This girl doesn't have a name yet, only because she wasn't born but had just appeared. Exactly a week ago acctually. Oh that is a good story, but I guess I'll tell it to you later becuse I bet your just dying to turn the page enough times to make it chapter one. Don't worry I'm almost finnished. The girl looked and acted like a five year old when she appeared out of thin air in the kitchen sink. Yes yes, i know what your thinking. Of all places for someone to appear randomly, she happens to land in the orphanages kitchen sink and AS A FIVE YEAR OLD!?!?!

Anyways...today was cold and rainy, so she decided it would be ok to open up the curtain. She liked to watch the beads of rain collect together on the window, fall down to the end and dissapear onto the ground below. She usually noticed little things like that, no one really knew though. They probably all thought se was stupid. She didnt really interact well.... she did try once but it ended with a little happy girls trip to the hospital. So the darkest of all children decided to just stay away from people for a while and stay in her room until it was night. She decided that that is when she would go and eat her meals. So, u can imagine that nobody even knew she existed right? RIght...

See something was about to happen to this little, inocent, dark child. Something that she would never forget. EVER.

All of a sudden she saw something out of the corner of her eye that made her come out of her raindrop trance. It was just a slight movement outside, something little and probably insignificant. But she didnt care. all of a sudden the thing came into focus and she noticed that it wasn't just a figure of her imagination. It actually was comming towards her. Pretty slowly at first, but then gradually got faster and faster. It was flying! She couldn't belive her eyes! Then the thing came up to her window, it looked almost like a bug or something but she only got to get a glance of it before it left.

The only strange part was that it said something to her before it flew away. But it didn't really say something to her with spoken words. It was almost like it was talking to her in her mind!

All it had to say was the words, "I Understand" for the dark childs whole life to change.

And the part that made the whole situation strange was that she knew, that it was talking to her in her mind. Because thats how she communicates with people too.
