chapter two; the weasleys

◘◘◘

"ROBYN, DEAR! IT'S so lovely to see you again. Not been in too much trouble, I hope?" Mrs Weasley greeted Robyn as she arrived in the kitchen of the Burrow.

"You know me, Mrs Weasley. I'm attracted to trouble," she said, as Mrs Weasley pulled her into a tight hug.

"I suppose that's how you found Fred and George, hm?" she asked with a smile. Robyn laughed with her as the twins turned around simultaneously and began fruitlessly trying to defend themselves.

"Robyn!" two voices called. Spinning around on her heel, Robyn saw Hermione and Ginny walking down the stairs towards her.

"Hi," she grinned as they pulled her into hugs.

"It's great to see you, how have you been?" Hermione beamed.

"You too. Y'know, same old," Robyn smiled.

"When are we going to pick up Harry, dad?" Fred asked, sinking down into a chair at the dining table.

"Soon. We'll have to use the Floo, I doubt Harry's aunt and uncle would be appreciative of us Apparating in."

"I doubt Harry's aunt and uncle will be appreciative of anything to do with wizards at all," said Ron as he jumped down the stairs. He gave Robyn a smile and wave in greeting, and she did the same back.

"Hm. I'm sure they'll be fine," Mr Weasley said, though he looked slightly doubtful.

"Let's hope so," said the twins together.

"Come on, Robyn, I'll show you where you're sleeping," said Ginny. Robyn followed her up the stairs to the first landing, where they climbed another staircase to the second. Ginny led her past the room she knew to be Fred and George's, before they reached hers. "Welcome," she smirked. Robyn smiled and walked past her, flopping onto the empty camp bed.

She grinned as she looked around at the dozens of posters which covered almost every inch of the walls. There were posters of the Weird Sisters, boys from wizarding magazines and various images of Quidditch teams. Another camp bed which she assumed Hermione was sleeping in was not too far from her own.

"Here is your luggage, m'lady," Fred announced as he and George tugged it in through the door. As soon as he had put it down next to Robyn's bed, he collapsed onto it next to her. "Ooh, in bed with Robyn."

"In your dreams," she laughed and shoved him a little. In true Fred fashion he over-exaggerated the act, throwing himself onto the floor and yelling dramatically.

"These acts of violence," he cried, "I can't bear it anymore."

"So will you finally leave me alone?" Robyn smirked, sitting up and running a hand through her hair.

"Never," Fred sprang up from the floor with a grin.

"Time to go!" Mr Weasley called up the stairs.

"See you later, Gin'," said George, ruffling her hair as he made his way out the door. She glared at him in annoyance.

"Bye, Ginny," Fred grinned, doing the same as his twin and running out of the door before she could retaliate. Robyn laughed and waved goodbye to Ginny, following the twins out the door and down the stairs.

When they reached the living room, it was to see Ron and Mr Weasley standing in front of the fireplace. The latter held a small pot in his hands which Robyn knew held Floo Powder.

"Ready, kids?" Mr Weasley beamed, looking around at them all.

"After you, dad," said the twins together, resting one arm on each of Robyn's shoulders. She scowled, crossing her arms in frustration of how small she was.
