Dear John,

Its been really hard being stuck here without you. I realise why you're annoyed- no, angry. I'm really sorry. I can't seem to go on without you no matter how hard I try. And believe me, I've tried. This pain is unbearable. your the medication for the pain. Help me. Please.

I put down the pen and saw what I had done. Red marks trickling like a dyed water around my arms and my wrists. A few marks landed on the page. As did a few year stains. Then a final drop of blood fell and the whole world began spinning like a top until the moment where it stopped and turned black.

Two days later, I awoke in a hospital bed Jacob, Mum and Roma were all crowded around me. I heard loud crashing outside and I tried to sit up but I became dizzy.

"Stop," mum said. "You can't move as fast," she held my hand.

"What's that noise," I asked.

"A present," Roma said.

I hugged her tightly. Noticing the stitches on my arms.

"Is this a bad time to say 'Happy Birthday'" Jacob said behind glazed eyes. I hugged him tightly getting his amazing scent.

The crashing had stopped. We began talking about how two weeks ago, I wrote a letter to John and how bad it was seeing me in a small pool of blood. They told me I was getting better and that I'd be at school wishing a week. Ready for the Spring Ball.

The he door opened and there, Stood in all his glory, was John. I wanted to touch him but couldn't move he burst into tears and hugged me tightly around the waist. Almost rugby tackling me.

"I love you," I whispered into her adorable ears.

"I love you, too," he whispered back. "But if you do that again- I will kill you,"

everyone ne hugged me and two weeks later I was back at school and looking forward to catching up on everything. I checked the nominee list for the Spring Ball King and Queen.

Top Three Candidates

King Queen

Kevin Jacobs Dylan Nicorosberg

John Quinn Erica Downie

Rocky Patterson. Charlie Hill

I was a candidate for the king? Who done this as I turned around I saw the whole football squad, including John, out ballot papers into my box. I could be a king for a day. The Spring Ball was fast approaching and yet I hadn't found myself a date. John and I never got back together and Jacob and I never started going out in the first place. I never knew who to choose and behind me were John and Jacob both holding a Rose and a two tickets to The Spring Ball.

"Will you go with me," they said simultaneously.

I gasped and shook my head.

"I don't know who to pick," and I ran off
