The lights of the Hospital room shines on the glass incubator with the four inside. The squishy children were weak and soft that needed a blanket to cover it so it would feel safe. Any mother would have lazed on the bed feeling proud and protective. Not Kiran, no. She glared at the four fetuses while they slept peacefully.Eyed at them, one by one as if they were test subjects. She came closer to the clear box and swiftly removed the soft blanket. Then lightly she pinched the babies' skin one by one. She did it not because she adored them. It was more like giving them a test of some sort. She grinned, well what seemed like a grin, the corner of her lips twitched a bit. Then she tiptoed back into the thin hospital bed then rolled over to sleep.
Not even begining to dream yet , one of the fleshy thing began to wail. With a groan she pulled herself out of the bed and came to the baby. Kiran picked up the baby, his eyes weren't even wet but his face was so squished some would not even noticed that babies don't cry tears. Although that's just how they cry ,Kiran felt tricked and frustrated at the baby. She held the baby in her arms far away from her shirt. At first with some hesitation but then with anger she pulled the baby closer to her mouth when it started wailing loudly. She opened her mouth and then she began to-no, not sing-half whisperer half shouted into it's ear"You better make me proud."
Then dropped the baby back into it's glass cage. Kiran didn't have a favorite yet but it was obvious which one was the least favourite..She began to leave but the perfect words seem to enter her mind, begging to be let out. She twirled around and came back, singling the one cry baby from the rest and said"Crying's not going to help , go hush yourself up. If not, wail all you want in the streets. I won't bother you any more there. "
Kiran felt that the words sounded much more fierce in her mind but thought it was good enough and went back to bed.Crying or not crying Kiran is going to ignore it either way. Refusing to pick up the crying baby that just wanted some attention. The little one cried and wailed and sniffed all throughout the night until it succumbed to exhaustion and finally put its demanding to a rest.
