(34) Her Story.

2 months later,

Bucky, Lexie and his two kids Camryn anď Camden loaded up in his car for a weekend trip to Buffalo NY. Lexie's biological siblings moved back to their hometown after they were done with school. 

Once they were in Buffalo, Bucky looked at her. 

"So where am I going? You didn't put in a address." He said after they had lunch. 

"Let me drive.." she said 

"Okay.." he said as he tossed her the keys. 

Once everyone was in, she started to back out of the parking spot at Malone's steakhouse. 

"You asked me why I didn't choose adoption, and I told you because the circumstances were difrerent. You were to drunk to care to ask me any other questions." She said 

"Baby I said I was sorry about that night why are we rehashing it now." He said 

"You'll see." She said as the GPS began to tell her directions. 

Fifteen minutes later, they pulled up to a charred framework of what used to be a house. 

"Uh baby, did you put in the wrong address?" He asked. 

"This was my childhood home for the first 4 years of my life. My bio parents..my bio dad is Micah's brother and my bio mom was his sister in law. They were drug addicts, and sometimes forgot that me,Nikki and Donnie existed. The night of the fire, I fell asleep in Donnie's bed with him he was 9 and Nikki was 8. I just remember Donnie frantically waking me up he carried me out on his back after he wrapped me in one of his blankets. He woke up Nikki and we ran out..we stood there by that tree hoping to see our parents come out they never did. The neighbors called 911..and let us sit at their house. Our parents..they didn't make it out. According to the autopsy reports..they were dead before the fire started. They overdosed..and the fire started cause Jaxson my bio dad's foot knocked over a bottle of liqour on to a candle Trixie my bio mom had lit." Lexie said 

Bucky sat there in silence, as tears rolled. 

"That's my story.." she said as she started to put her brother's address in. 

She felt little arms come around her, it was Camden and Camryn's arms they both kissed her cheeks. 

"Don't cry mama Lexie." Camden said 

She hugged them both, Bucky cupped her cheek "I'm sorry I was an asshole. You're right it is two different circumstances. And remind me to thank Donnie when we get there." He said before kissing her. 

They pulled out of the driveway, and went to Donnie's house. When they arrived he hugged Donnie

"Donovan thank you.." he said 

"For what cuz?" Donnie said 

"She told me about the fire, so thank you for saving her." He said 

Donovan smiled, "You're welcome." Donovan said 

"Donnie these babies need to stop growing or you and Kellie need more for me to spoil." Lexie said as she came over. 

"You just need your own..me and Kelly are done." Donovan said 

"Us too sis." Nikki said 

"Boo on you both." Lexie said as she hugged on Bucky.
