about a week passed by and chanyeol felt like he was losing his mind. jimin hadn't woken up and they still couldn't find chani, the only person they knew was involved in chaeyoung's kidnapping.
"can i come in?" a male voice called out. chanyeol turned to see baekhyun. he nodded before turning back to look at his computer screen.
baekhyun sighed, walking up to him. "are you still trying to find the guy?"
chanyeol stayed quiet as he looked through the many pictures of the men who had committed crimes, ranging from serial killers to robbers. baekhyun stood over chanyeol's shoulder, glancing at his screen.
"i'm going to take that as a yes," baekhyun muttered.
"oh, sorry, did you need something?" chanyeol asked, not bothering to look at baekhyun.
"it's pretty late. why don't you go to sleep?" baekhyun asked.
"later," chanyeol responded.
"are you sure?" baekhyun raised his eyebrow. "we have a mission in less than three days. you have to be well-rested for it, remember?"
"i know," chanyeol affirmed. "i'll do what i'm supposed, don't worry."
you say that as if you're not worrying either, idiot. baekhyun thought as he sighed. patting chanyeol's shoulder, baekhyun turned to leave, shutting the door as he left chanyeol alone.
