"HUH?" I gasped for air. I was having that dream again. Except, it wasn't a dream where I would be sweating in my comfy bed, drowning in sweat. No no. I was drowning in blood.
"Leo?" I whispered, trying my best to speak.
"Thats right, bud. I'll go get you some aid and-"
"No need." I interrupted his sentence without thinking. "I.. I can do it myself. Go, go and help Casey." Leos eyes clenched in tears. He nodded. Running to Casey, he turned his back, winking his eye sorrowfully. I crawled to my emergency pack, my brow furrowing in pain. I was stabbed near the heart, and was incredibly weak. I looked around to my surroundings. Dead corpses of people I knew. People I loved. I can't bear this any longer.
I reached for the first aid kit. I was so close. I remembered Leo, my best friend, thinking about how we first met. My mother. She was the most caring soul that I ever knew. Myself. I couldn't think about anything for myself. I was hopeless.
I am hopeless.
At that moment, my muscles loosened, and I rested my eyes. I felt myself at peace, laying on the bloodstained floor. It was getting softer, and softer.

I shot open my eyes.
