From what I can remember, I have always being a quite girl. It is not something new but I always wonder how did I become who I am today. Was it family circumstances, friends or was it the pressure of being a female.
It is without a doubt everyone one was expecting a boy as the second child as the eldest was already a girl. However, everyone were disappointed when i was born. I was already a disappointment before I did anything. I guess it happens to every Asian female as it is already rooted in every Asian parents that sons are better than girls. It is not their fault entirely as they also the victim of they parents parenting and their ideologies.
However, sometimes I feel like it would have been better to be born as a boy than a girl. Even though they also have have things that they go through.
