He turns around slowly his eyes capturing mine.
" What did you just say?" He asks, stepping towards me slowly. I sigh looking down.
" I'm in love with you Henry." I repeat quietly. Henry nods stepping even closer towards me.
When he's right in front of me he leans forward and kisses me. His lips are smooth and soft. I love the feel of them on mine. His hands go to my waist and I smile. This is where I belong, in Henry's arms. A loud growl rips through the air, causing me to jump breaking the wonderful kiss. I look around and see Lucas standing there glaring at Henry. I step in front of his view and his blue eyes soften. How is this happening? No of it makes since.
Henry steps in front of me and low, dangerous growls erupt from both of them. Oh gosh, I hope they don't get into some fight. I step in between them, looking back and forth at their faces. They won't get into a fight on my watch. Not today.
" No fighting." I say loudly, getting their attention. Lucas gives a small nod looking away. Henry nods too.
" Good. Now were going to my room now." I demand.
They nod, slipping into my window. Once were all in my room, Lucas stands near my door and Henry stands near my dresser and I sit on my bed. Were quiet for a couple of minutes until Lucas speaks up.
" We need to figure out how this happened and what's going on. It doesn't make any sense. Maybe if one of us rejects the other, it'll all work out." He says quietly glancing back and forth between me and Henry.
" No, absolutely not." I object sternly, glaring at Lucas.
I stand up and walk towards him. When I'm in front of him I poke his chest. Amusement is clear in his eyes and it ticks me off even more. Agh! Stupid smirk.
" I'm not rejecting anyone!" I yell.
He just shrugs looking away. I nod and walk back over to my bed. Henry gives me a small smile, which I return.
" So guys, what are we gonna do?" I ask crossing my arms and looking at both of them.
Henry looks down and Lucas just shrugs looking me in the eye. Why are they making this so difficult? I don't know what to do. This whole thing is a mess to me. Lucas steps froward and looks to Henry.
" Can I have a moment with Anna. I'm not going to do anything I just need to tell her something." He says quietly. Henry glances at me and I nod.
" Okay. Don't try anything." Henry growls stepping out of the room, closing the door behind him.
Lucas rolls his eyes, and steps towards me where I'm sitting on my bed. He gives a small smirk. Oh gosh! If his smirk wasn't so cute I would smack it off his face. Wait no!! No, no,no!!! I'm with Henry. Only Henry. Agh!
" I'm sorry for kissing you." He says quietly. My eyes find his in surprise.
"Your apologizing?" I ask. He smirks.
" Yes, I do. Not to many people but your an exception." He says with a wink.
I chuckle. Wow. He nods, sitting beside me. His warmth immediately covers me and my wolf purrs. Ergh! He takes a deep breath and smiles. It turns sad after a moment and my wolf whimpers. Hmmm.
" What's wrong?" I ask quietly. His blue eyes find mine and I find myself staring back.
" Your in love with Henry. I know it's going to be him in the end we all do. I want you to know I'll always protect you, no matter what. I'll never leave your side." He says quietly. I grab his hand. He looks down at our hands and smiles.
" Lucas...... Thank you." Is all I find to reply. He nods with a knowing smile. Then he stands up and looks back.
" Goodbye Anna." He says quietly and walks out of my room, leaving me with a bad feeling.
I don't know the emotion I'm feeling now. It's a mixture of hurt, guilt, love, and something else ..... fear. Why would I be scared? Henry left a little while ago. But my mind seems to be on Lucas for some reason. Will I see him again? Where did he go? Why am I thinking of him? Every cliché question that seems so stupid seems to fit this situation perfectly. Ugh. I crawl out of my window and onto my roof. I bring my knees up to my chest and lay my head down, staring up at the beautiful full moon. I've always loved the moon. It's so entrancing.
After a while of just thinking I go back into my room and walk down to the kitchen to eat something. When I'm there I see Zach and he's on the phone talking to someone. I just ignore him and pull out a bowl, some Lucky Charms, and milk. Then I make some cereal. After everything is put back up Zach clears his throat. I look over to him and he crosses his arms and gives me a look. The brother one that says ' what's wrong? Do I need to shoot someone?'. I shrug.
" I'm fine. I'm just tired. I think I'm gonna go to sleep now. Goodnight, love you. Tell mom and dad I said that." I say walking up to my room with my food my hands and Lucas in my mind.
It's going to be a long week, I can already tell. To add to the bad things. School is in the morning. Agh! It just ruins everything. School gets in the way of my brain. Ugh. That probably sounds stupid because school is education, but it gets in the way of a lot of things outside of school. Ugh. Maybe I should quit school, but that would be pointless and idiotic. Sometimes you just have to deal with stuff that annoy and upset you. But how am I suppose to deal with to mates? I have no idea.
When I'm up in my room. I take a quick shower then I change into some fluffy pajamas, that are warm and snuggle. Then I go to sleep, hoping to have good dreams that involve sweet tea and pizza. Ahh.
