She lay there on her queen size mattress restless. She shifted her body to look at the figure lying next to her. He opened his eyes and smiled at her.
"What are you doing up baby?" Garrett asked.
"I couldn't sleep. Sorry if I woke you up."
"Liz, it's fine. I love you," he smiled.
"Love you too babe," she smiled back running her fingers through his hair. She knew that it drove him crazy when she did this. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close.
"Garrett?"
"Yeah?"
"I could stay here with you all day but I kinda got to get to school," she giggled.
"Oh right," he smiled, "do you need me to drive you?"
"Umm, yes please. I promise that once I get out of school we can do something together," Liz winked.
"Such as what?"
"You'll find out later cause I have to get ready for school." She said getting up and crossing the room, only in her underwear and bra, to find some skinny jeans and a t-shirt.
"Can you at least give me a hint?"
"Nope trust me the wait will be worth it," she grinned slipping her converse on. "Okay I'm ready."
"We have a few minutes to do whatever if you want."
"I can't I told my friends I would meet them early," she paused, "but I'm sure they can wait," she grinned walking over to him.
