Interrogation by Werewolf, Dead Bodies, and Questioning Derek Hale

Ash didn't know what had hit him until it was too late. One minute he was getting ready to slip his helmet on after listening to Derek's horrible attempt at convincing Scott to listen to him, and the next minute his back was hitting the bark of one of the many trees surrounding the Hale house. Ash let out a grunt of pain, and then sighed in annoyance when he realized it was Derek who had grabbed him. This was starting to get old, fast.

"What are you?" Derek growled at Ash, his eyes flashing an ice cold blue color.

Ash looked back in confusion, while attempting to get him to loosen his grip. "What are you talking about?!"

"You know exactly what I'm talking about!" Derek snarled back. "Your arm should still be bothering you, and you should have a concussion with how hard you hit the ground Friday night."

Ash rolled his eyes. "Did it not cross your mind that I was wearing a helmet?!"

"That still doesn't explain how your arm is all healed," Derek said, as he tightened his grip on Ash's black leather hoodie.

Ash gritted his teeth as he felt the bark of the tree digging into his back. He knew Derek had him there, but he couldn't tell him what he didn't completely know, or completely understand, for that matter. He attempted to shove Derek off of him but he didn't even budge.

"You gonna answer my question?" Derek asked. "Or am I gonna have to find out another way?"

Ash's eyes widened when he noticed Derek's nails getting longer, and beginning to tear through his jacket. "I'm telling you I don't know what you're talking about! Now let go of me!"

Before Derek could say anything, a blur of grey and red grabbed Derek from behind and threw him away from Ash. Ash winced as several of Derek's claws managed to graze the side of his neck as he was thrown into a tree just a few feet away. Ash met the yellow eyed gaze of Scott in surprise. He watched as the glow of yellow disappeared from the teen's eyes, returning them to their normal brown.

"You alright, Ash?" Scott asked, noticing the thin trails of blood that were slowly gliding down Ash's neck.

Ash nodded his head, gently placing his hand against his neck before pulling it away. "Yeah. It's just a scratch."

"Okay, then we need to go before-" Scott looked behind him, stopping mid sentence when he realized that Derek had disappeared once again.

Ash sighed, shaking his head. "Come on. I need to get home anyway."

Scott nodded his head, turning back around to face Ash. "Alright."

The two headed back to the Hale house where Ash's dirt bike and Scott's bike were waiting for them. As Ash moved to pull his helmet on, he paused and turned to face Scott, who was just clipping on his bike helmet.

"How'd you find me so fast?"

Scott looked at Ash, slightly surprised by the question. "I just used my hearing and listened for your voice."

"You seemed to have pretty good control of yourself back there," Ash commented as Scott climbed onto his bike.

"Yeah," Scott looked down before he looked back up, meeting Ash's blue eyed gaze. "But I don't think it was just me. It was like there was this other... presence, like there was someone else... helping me keep control. At least, long enough to get Derek away from you."

Ash's eyebrows crinkled in confusion, his head tilting to the side as he filtered the information away for later. "Okay, but thanks. For getting him away from me."
