Fandroid's mechanical parts whirred as he powered on in the morning. He sat up on his mattress, stretched his arms, and prepared for another day of work. Every day he would work on videos for kids, for ADHOC. Secretly, he resented ADHOC for forcing him to work, but Fandroid was great at hiding his anger. Even though he didn't like his job, there was no reason to make kids upset by showing how much he hated it. It could be much worse anyways.

He logged onto his computer. Atleast he was given a very high quality gaming pc for his job. He was very privileged to have this pc, even if it was a neccesity for his work. He also was allowed a set monthly budget of 100$ for stuff to buy on it. He had found a way to abuse this budget by buying 100$ gift cards so he could carry over the monthly budget. He was also very privileged that he could do this.

If he really wanted something. he could just save his budget for it and purchase it. But, some things he just could never buy. The internet didn't have access to his blueprints, and hence he couldn't buy upgrades for himself. If he dared sent his blueprints to the internet, ADHOC would surely shut him down, or maybe just torture him with electrocution.

If someone else had uploaded the blueprints anonymously, ADHOC couldn't possibly blame him for that, right? Out of pure curiousity, Fandroid searched up 'Fandroid blueprints ADHOC' to see if someone had done so. There was just a few results, and he clicked the first one. It led to a site, which requested that he let it download 'Fandroid_docs.zip' to his computer.

Fandroid let it download, excited to see if it would actually hold his blueprints. When it finished, he started the extraction of the zip file. It had an ETA of thirty minutes. Fandroid thought that was suspiciously long just for some blueprints, unless maybe this included all of his code. The implication that someone on the internet had all of that was scary. Fandroid let it extract in the background and opened Roblox to start a livestream. Hopefully that could distract him.

"Hello world! It's me, Fandroid, the muuusical robot! Today I'm playing Framed on Roblox!" As always, fans flooded into the stream, spamming the chat, begging him to notice them or to friend them on Roblox. Fandroid started playing his game, getting in a couple really good rounds, when his computer started lagging. "Huh? That's weird, this thing shouldn't lag!" He thought out loud.

A gaming pc worth thousands of dollars definitely shouldn't be lagging. Fandroid checked the ventilation for dust, but there was none, it was spotless. The computer itself did feel very hot though, and the fans didn't seem to be moving very fast. Fandroid sighed, pesky fans. Fandroid used water-cooling, which was much quieter, and more modern.

"Well kids, my computer seems to be a bit broken. I think I should tell ADHOC to fix it. Bye guys, see you next time! Er, next time as in whenever this thing gets working." Atleast he could take a break from his work while it got fixed. He needed a break. Maybe his computer did too. He closed the stream and checked his download. There was a lot of files, so Fandroid just clicked the one that said 'README.txt'.

GET TRICKED LOSER! DID YOU REALLY THINK YOU WOULD GET FANDROID'S BLUEPRINTS? NO CHANCE BOZO!

Atleast nobody had his blueprints, but the file was really rude. Maybe it was what was slowing his computer. He closed out of it, shut down his pc, and went outside his room. He was going to look for Griff, the janitor. Griff could probably fix his computer, and if not, he could atleast contact employees that could.

Griff was right by, luckily.

"Griff... um.... my computer is broken."

"What. What the heck did you do to it, idiot? That thing's expensive! Oh lord, when, when Dox finds out, they're gonna take money out of MY paycheck."

"Why? Isn't it your job to fix these things? Shouldn't they add money?"

Fandroid had always been confused by how things worked at ADHOC. They seemed to treat employees poorly, though the only one who ever spoke with him was Griff.

"Fandroid, you won't understand, you just won't be able to. You're built to listen to reason, and ADHOC is far from reasonable."

"But Griff, isn't there a reason for everything?"

"Fandroid, can you calculate the last digit of pi for me?"

Fandroid always fell for this kind of trick. If Griff didn't want him to talk anymore, he'd give Fandroid some impossible task and walk away.

"Okay, just give me a second! Um.......... uh........ HEY!" He shouted down the hall, to no avail, as Griff ran off. Moments later, an ADHOC employee wearing an outfit quite different to Griff's walked towards Fandroid. The employee was large, and seemed very strong. Their hair covered their face.

"Your computer is broken?" They asked in a gruff voice.

"Oh, um, yes sir! Well, it isn't broken, per-say, but I am pretty sure it has a virus."

"There's no need for clarification, it's my job to figure out what's wrong."

Fandroid was initially scared by this employee, but he seemed much more understanding than Griff. Fandroid began to wish that employees talked to him more, maybe he could meet more nice people.

"What is your name, sir?"

"Dox."
