"Where have you been Princess. We where worried someone kidnapped you and killed you," Melanie rambled as she pulled Freya into her embrace. "Melanie, who on earth would do that," Freya asked as she giggled at her friend's panick. "You never know Princess. Here are some of our enemy kingdoms present. I was just worried," Melanie said pulling away from Freya. "You don't have to worry about me Melanie. And what did I say about you calling me Princess. I am your friend, call me Freya," Freya cocked an eyebrow at her friend. "It just feels weird to adress you on your name. I was told from a young age to adress you as Princess if I was ever to encounter you." Freya shook her haed with a smile on her face.
"I am tired. Would you excuse me," Freya said standing up from the chairs she and her friend sat on while they talked the night away.

"Remember no tap outs. Fight till death," Voltorin said before beginning the first fight of the trials. Both fighters had daggers in there hands for close combat and bigger blades for far combat. "Who'd you think will win," Melanie asked Freya while they stand in the crowd of fea and watch the fight. "To be honest. I don't really think that anyone of them will win this. Yeah sure one of them will be alive at the end of the fight but in the next fight the surviver will most probably die," Freya shrugged and turned around ready to walk away. "Thats little sinister." "It's the truth Melanie. Most of these fea are goimg to die in this trial remember only one can survive," Feeya said walking out of the crowd.
"Where are you going Princess," Melanie asked following behind Freya. "This is predictable. The fighter from Andalusia is going to win this round," Freya says still walking out of the crowd. "I thought you wern't interested in the fight." "I am not that is why I am going to train. Would you like to join me?" "Yes that would be a honour to train with you Princess," Melanie says dumbstruck at Freya's request.
After walking away from the crowd Freya and Melanie found the weopons table and took there weopons of choice. Melanie had twin blades as her main weopons and throwing stars as precaution weopons; Freya had her sword for a main weopon and daggers as her precaution weopons.
"Why are you scared Melanie, it is only training,"Freya asked when they stepped into the empty ring. "I am not scared, only cautious. You are the best fighter in the Northern kingdom," Melanie says walking to the opposite side of Freya. "Cautious of what," Freya asked as a small chuckle leaves her thought. "Getting hurt. My magic is not healing, Princess,"Melanie seriously said looking at Freya. "Well my dear Melanie, lucky for you, you are friends with a royal witch has all magic abilities." Melanie rised her eyebrows and smiled at her friend cheekily,"Not to be rude but Princess as far as I know most of your abilities are still dormant." Freya waved her hand dismissing the topic. "That's only temporary." Melanie smiled and giggled. Freya shook her head and giggled with her friend.
"Okay. We should start other wise we will get nowhere," Freya comanded. "Yes your highness," Melanie sarcastically bows and comes up with her blades in her hands. Following her actions Freya took her sword from it's holder and brought it eye level.
Taking the firts launch Melanie swung her blade at Freya's stomach but Freya blocked it with her own blade.
Before Melanie could utter a new action Freya withdrew her sword from Melanie's and begun to swing it at Melanie's face. As Melanie blocked all the swings she sterted to move back as Freya moved forward.
Before Melanie even thought of a plan to fight bake her head collided withthe hard ground of the ring.
"You lose," Freya calmly stated as she stuck out her arm to help her friend up. "Round two," Melanie exclaimed when she was in a stable position on her feet. "Are you sure. You look a little pale," Freya questioned concern written clearly on her face. Melanie hummed a yes and stepped forward. "Suit yourself," was all Freya said before she resumed her previous position to train with her friend.
"So is it true that you were with Prince Kai last night," Melanie asked as Freya started their second round of training. "Where did you hear that," Freya frowned. "Gossip around the cercle," Melanie shrugged . "What has it to do with you any way," Freya asked, swinging her sword at Melanie. Dodging the swing she playfully gasped,"So it's true. The prince has a soft spot in you heart." Freya rolled her eyes at Melanie. "Don't be ubserd. We are from rival Kingdoms and we are fighting for the same position in the guard. Why would we indulge in anything other then competative," Freya rolled her eyes, stopping for a few seconds to grasp what Melanie insinuated. "You never know Princess. He might even surprise," Melanie smiled at Freya whom was still standing still. Melanie took that small moment of weakness to knok Freya off her feet.
As she hit the ground she groaned at the pain shooting through her body. "What is it you and the genaral always said; 'Distraction is weakness. Stear clear of it.' You best stear clear if that prince. He is your distraction Princess," Melanie chimed, with a pleased smirk on her face. "Oh hush Melanie. I was only distracted for a few seconds," Freya countered not fond of the idea that she had an obvious weakness. "I doubt it was just mere seconds. It leaned more to a minute, don't you think Princess," a deep voice retoricly asked. "Prince Kai. To what do we owe the pleasure," Melanie ckekely asked while tucking her weapons away and helping Freya up from the ground. "Voltorin requested your presences at the ring. Something about your fight arrangements for tomorrow," he answered stepping closer to the two ladies infront of him. Melanie looked at Freya with a knowing smile on her face and before Freya could utter a word Melanie nodded her head at Kai and started walking away, leaving Freya and Kai alone.
"How long have you been standing there before you speaked," Freya asked as she turned towards the table where she and Melanie got there weapons. "Long enough to know that you got distracted by the thought of me," Kai said following the retreating Fraya. "Don't flatter yourself. I was destracted by what Melanie said not you," Freya said discarding her swords holder onto the table along side the belt with daggers. "Would you just give me this one victory Princess. You have already proven your point," Kai said leaning down on the table. "I would happily prove it again," Freya shrugged turning to Kai. Biting his bottum lip he looked over Freya's small body with a unrecognizable smile on his face. "I have a question to ask you Princess," Kai asked moving closer to Freya. Freya looked up at Kai through her lashes and swollowed the lump in her trought. "Then ask it," she wispered, with her eyes still fixed on Kai's dark gray ones. A quick smile crosses his lips before he once again spoke. "If I would to win would I get a reward for doing so?" Freya slightly parted her lips and leaned up to his ear,"We would have to find out." Kai pulled Freya closer into him. " Is that an invite," Kai asked lifting her face by her chin to look up at him. She blinked her eyes rapidly and nodded her head frantically. "Then lets see wat I'll get for my reward," he said reaching behind Freya and grabbing a small blade. "Lets see," Freya agreed taking her own weapon from the table.
