Ello dear reader! My name is Amelia and I really love Umbrella Academy (especially Number Five cuz he do me bad).
Most of the fanfics I read here are not the relationship I'd imagine Five would have for a female partner. Like, where's the thrill, the romance, the excitement? No. It's literally just Five becoming all sweet at the first chapter it's giving ✨second hand embarrassment✨. People seem to like it but it's just not my cup of coffee.
So I decided to write this book for all my fellow fangirls out there who are also looking for a good fan fiction with a realistic relationship with our favorite coffee addict, Number Five.
Before proceeding here are some reminders, previews, disclaimers, and warnings.

1. I do not owe The Umbrella Academy, it belongs to their rightful owners I am just a hopeless romantic girl writing fanfictions about guys that don't exist so I owe Kyra and her attributes.
2. This story will be based on the events that happened in the show but with you in it and your relationship with Five. This book will also focus on the romance between you and Five but of course, I'll also include the action scenes and other parts. I'd also include some character development. And as much as possible I'll try to add some itsy bitsy changes so it won't feel like ya'll are just rewatching the show.
3. You will have a love-hate relationship with Five to increase the butterflies in the stomach feel to a whole new level okay. It does NOT mean there will be no romance but I don't want the reader to have a wedding with Five in the first chapter you know? Let's make it a bit toxic, well, not toxic I don't see Five being one too. I want an enemy to lovers arc for the thrill and many sexual tensions (don't judge me). (it's just always, 'hey wyd' and never 'i hate you but it's boring without you here')
4. This book will include violence, profanity, and possible mentions of sexual themes. There will however not have any smut or explicit content because I am incapable of writing it so in this story, it is mostly fluff.
5. Five won't be 13 here, he'll be somewhere the age of 18-19 when he comes back since it's more appropriate to be initiated in showing affection and having scenes suitable for both of the characters since Kyra is 19 years old and if he was 13, please call the popo for pedophilia (wOOp wOOp thAts tHe sOud oF dA pOLiCe 🚓 wOOp wOOp thAts tHe sOud oF dA bEaSt 💪🏻)
(Let's also make five 24, so he's 24 before he got transported back to the present time and became a 18 year old cuz shipping a 19 year old with a senior is mEEP) 😐
6. I'll try to change some dialogues but I won't entirely change their personalities and the episodes.
7. Credits to the owner. I will post gifs and pictures that I will find on the internet just dm me if you wanna take it down it will be no problem.
8. Please disregard the mistakes, misspellings, and grammatical errors. I plan to edit the entire book after I complete it. I'm no expert author or editor as well so bear with me guys.
9. I will write the events by memory so forgive me if I didn't get them in order. Though, I am rewatching while writing but I'm still not 100% confident ykyk.
10. I will make up scenes that never happened in the show and it might majorly change the plot line of the story, so dont get confused or anything.
11. Each chapter will contain about 1000-4000 words. Since I will work very hard on each of them, I will not be posting often. And I mean it. I forgot about this book for 9 months so don't expect fast uploads.
13. This book will include SPOILERS from season 1 and possible mentions of season 2.
14. If you don't have a sense of humor, please leave.
15. I will be adding other OCs cuz like why not there's so much potential with 42 kids with abilities.
