"You're telling me that I am the one you assign on the cookie theft case? Arm Weerayut I swear to God.." Tawan rubs his face as he groans, couldn't believe what he saw in front of him.

The said Arm Weerayut on the other side of the desk just nod, sipping his third mug of coffee and staring at Tawan indeferently.

"Mind you I had just finish solving a serial killer case in the Capital." Tawan arrogantly stated before Arm sighed.

"Look, detective. I am well aware of your reputation, but mind you.. aren't you also the one that made a false imprisonment on a council member?" Arm clasp his hands together.

Tawan Vihokratana was a brilliant detective, he works swiftly and more importantly his guts were always correct. As surprising as it might be, he is also a little bit of a jerk. That's probably why Arm—his peer and his best friend whose the same age as him can be a captain and Tawan is stuck at his detective position. If only Tawan is a little bit dumber he'd probably demoted to a patrol officer now.

"I had my reason. I was right, well—almost right. His campaign director is the unsub." Tawan shrugs, grabbing the glass of iced coffee before downing half of it and crunching the ice cubes in his mouth. Looking pissed as if someone just step on his toes.

That sounds better than being assigned on a cookie thief case, a robbery involving sugar cookies recipe. Might as well suspend him and confiscated his badge rather than assigning him on this case. Tawan is actually being punished, after his bold yet false imprisonment on a council member from his last case... the deputy chief wasn't too fond of his mistake and decided to send Tawan as aide to his homecity.

A city he despise more than anything.

"Fine." Tawan sigh. Feeling quite calm after getting his dose of caffeine. "Who's my nanny?" Tawan asked again.

Arm finally can heave the breathe he's been holding. "Go to the crime scene, he's there." Arm commands and Tawan gets up as he take his leave from the office. "Oh, wait. Tay, if you do good here the chief said he will gladly appreciate your help." Arm adds.

"I know, Capt." Tawan sigh again. Well, working on a cookie thief case sounds like an easy ticket anyway. "Drinks on you when I'm done, Arm." Tawan waves his hand carelessly before putting his jacket and taking out off the precinct.

Tawan actually loathe this city. The small city where an almost orphaned Tawan grows up as a plague to the whole city. He did everything he could to bolted out of the city's border the second he has the chance—who knows that he is now back here.

And as if life hasn't toy with him enough, he needs to solve a cookie thief case. A petty cookie thief.

"I told you already, I know nothing. I remember closing off at the usual time. Probably a few minutes close to 9 PM. Because I remember coming home and still manage to catch half of the 9PM News opening." The fair-skinned man explained, he's looking like a mess as Tawan observed from the back. Assuming the guy he talk to is his babysitter. "Look office—detective, I have chicken I need to marinate. How many times will you asked me to repeat this?"

Feisty.

Tawan thought to himself as he hold his thought and scanned through the bakery again, it looks like a local hurricane was visiting this bakery.

Bowwiee Café and Bakery. The one and only pride of their city—with the infamous sugar cookies as it's best signature. Tawan can remember how this bakery has been here since he was a child.

"Mister Techaapaikun, I assure you this is a very important details. I need to make assessment and any details, even the smallest help." The tall detective explained, he was wearing a casual outfit, a simple black coat and a shirt and jeans under it.
