Hiccup-
"Nightfury!" Several vikings shouted in terror as its chilling whistle echoed through the sky... This Dragon was cold, calculating. Our dragon Manual advised to never engage this Dragon, to run and pray to Odin that it does not find you.
"Stay pu' and man the Fort 'iccup! They need me out there!" Gobber bellowed his order as he swapped out his hook for a battle axe attachment. With a massive War cry, the massive viking stormed out into the battle. As soon as Gobber ran around the corner, I smirked and left with one of my inventions. I call it the Mangler. The Mangler is a spring loaded cannon that fires bolas at dragons.
"Where are ye Goin ye bloody Bastard?!" One of the Villagers shouted, with others echoing the questions along side some insults. Unfortunately I am the least favorite person here...
After a short run, I pulled a lever and the Mangler opened up, ready to fire.
"Come on, give me something to shoot at... Please Thor..." I mumbled under my breath as the iconic whistle was heard again. I then noticed that a few stars would disappear for a brief second and reappear. I trained my front sight on the area and fired. The kick from the Mangler was surprising as it sent me onto my ass. Suddenly, the night fury shrieked as it disappeared near Raven point. That's when I heard his Booming voice.
"WHERE IS THAT THOR-FORSAKEN SON O' MINE!?" I scowled as I stood up, knowing what was coming. I slowly sauntered my way back to the forge, but a massive hand lifted me up off the ground.
"Why did ye leave the Forge Hiccup?! Ye know better than going out during a raid!" My father boomed as he dropped me. I landed on my knee and stood up with a harsh glare sent to the man.
"Don't ye dare look at me like that! I could ship yer sorry ass off the island for being different!" I scowled and lashed out, stabbing my dagger into the wooden wall of a hut right next to us and stormed off. I slightly glanced back, to see a somewhat shocked face on the Chief. I stopped in my tracks as I heard Gobber call out.
"Hiccup, where ye goin lad?" My mentor and surrogate father asked. I spun about and sent another harsh glare and spoke up with disgust in my voice, "I'm leaving this Gods Forsaken town for the night because of my supposed 'Father'... If I'm killed, don't worry..." The disgust had drained from my words and the coldness had surprised Gobber as well. I spun on my heal and entered the woods.
Gobber-
"Odin's beard... 'Ve never seen the lad lash out like that... Wha' ye do Stoick?" I asked the Chief, who shrugged, yet appeared to be surprised as well. I yanked the dagger out of the wall and hobbled back to the forge.
Hiccup-
I followed the path that lead straight to Raven point and at last minute I tripped into a small tench in the ground. I then glanced up at the tree, and to my surprise it was split in half. I then followed the Path of Damage and continued on for a mile. Suddenly, I was at the edge of a cliff, so i sat down for the night.
'That Bastard doesn't deserve a son... If a Dragon takes me, I don't care... At least my Death would teach him a lesson' I thought to myself. Suddenly, a soft roar echoed from inside the cove. I leaned over and saw the blue-purple flame of the mighty dragon. I sat there watching, studying it until I noticed the bright orange above the horizon. That's when I had seen something completely unexpected. The sleek black dragon with forest green eyes was swiftly absorbed by a bright light for a few seconds. After the light disappeared, I froze in shock as a beautiful girl roughly my age stood before me. She had a black skirt, leggings and boots, with a forest green top and shoulder armor that was also black... That's when everything darkened.
Unknown Dragon Girl-
I had just shifted from my true form, to allow my wings a brief rest before I attempted to leave again. Unfortunately, something must be wrong as I can't get out of this place. Suddenly a crash sounded from above and I shifted back into a Nightfury. That's when I saw a small human falling from the cliff. I beat my wings as hard as possible but couldn't keep stable in the air, that's when I felt him land on my back. I sighed, this could be life or death for me But he appears weak to the point that hurting a Terrible terror would be damn near impossible.
A/N--------
Greetings Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. I have some somewhat unfortunate news regarding one story I have been working on. I regret to inform you that something had come up regarding it. I have decided to rewrite it as over time, I've started to think that there are some better people to pair Hiccup with than Astrid Hofferson, including some OC's. I was setting it up to have my OC killed off to guide in the direction of the original Author, however I have noticed some potential that'll surely surprise you in a later chapter of this rewrite.
Unfortunately, I will not spill to many details regarding it as I wish for it to be a surprise.
