I grab my keys and head out the door, The street lights shining in my face. I begin walking down the sidewalk. I walk into the forest near my house, I come here usually when I need to calm down. I see what looks like a person standing behind a tree, it's pretty hard to see since it's night. "Hello?" I yell, the figure slowly comes out from behind the tree. Holy shit. "W-what are you!?" I ask looking at the horns on his head, "I'm a ghoul" he says putting his hands behind his back. "A..ghoul?" I say. What the heck is happening, what's a ghoul!? "What are you doing here?" I ask slowly walking closer to him. "I don't know, I can't remember.."he says looking down. "Are you lost?" I can't believe I feel concerned for this..ghoul, but he looks nice. "Yeah, I think so" He looks back up at me. "would you like to come and stay with me?" WHAT THE HECK AM I SAYING!?
I just met this guy and I'm asking if he wants to stay with me!? Am I stupid or something!
"W-What?" He says surprised at my question.
"You don't have to! I probably shouldn't have asked"
"I'd be okay with staying with you.. I don't want to be a burden though" he says.
"You wouldn't.."
I know I've just met him but I feel like I can trust him..
"..want to go now?" I say reaching out my hand.
"Oh, um sure!" He says taking my hand.
I start walking and he follows still holding my hand.
We're holding hands right now..honestly it feels kind of nice.
"So what's your name?" I ask
"Rain"
"That's a really cool name" I smile.
"What's your name?" He asks.
"Emery"
