"I'm horrible! Disgusting! I'm just an asymmetrical piece of garbage!" I sighed. Not again! Liz and Patty just HAD to bring up the stripes again. Here we go again. I kneeled down by him, patting his head. (OH MY GOSH! HIS HAIR IS LIKE A BABY'S BUTT WRAPPED IN A CLOUD! O////O) "Kid, it's fine. You're perfect just the way you are."

"How can you say that? These cursed stripes completely destroy all hopes of symmetry for me! I'm asymmetrical garbage!"

I sighed. "Again with the self pity! C'mon! Pick yourself up!" I pulled him up by his arm. "Fix yourself up!" I straightened his shirt. "See! You're perfectly fine!"

"That's easy for you to say! You're perfectly symmetrical!"

"What? No, I'm not.."

"Of course you are. Symmetrical hair, symmetrical face. It's a wonder you can put up with some piece of trash like me!" That's it! Before I knew what I was doing, my arms were flung tightly around his neck as I felt all my  blood pumping straight to my face. I shuddered as I felt my friend's thin arms hesitantly wrap around my waist. I pulled back, my hands still clasped together at the back of his neck, his clasped on the small of my back.

"See? Would I hug a piece of garbage?"

"I thought you hated hugs."

"I do. But you looked like you needed it." What Kid did next surprised me even more than the fact that I hugged him. He leaned forward and gave me a quick kiss on my cheek, causing my whole face to heat up to a cherry red.

"Thanks, Elle" I could see him getting closer to me. Wait, am I leaning forward? What is happening? Is he about to kiss me? Do I want him to kiss me? I don't think so...he's my best friend. That'd be kinda awkward...

"GUYS! ARE YOU COMING?" I opened my eyes. (When did I close them?) Kid's and my faces were about one inch apart, our noses lightly brushing against each other. I nervously chuckled, pulling away from Kid and turned to Liz and Patty.

"Yeah! Coming!" I started walking to the sisters when suddenly, all my questions answered themselves. I missed the warmth of Kid's face near mine. I wanted to kiss him so badly.

"You okay?" I looked up at Kid and smiled, realizing I had stopped walking.

"Just fine." As I walked past him, I paused just long enough to kiss his left cheek. I started walking again to catch up to Liz and Patty, and I couldn't help but laugh when I heard Kid's voice calling, "Wait! Now it's not symmetrical! Come back and kiss the right one!"

Wheeeeeee! *rolls out on Stein's rolling chair* This is awesome!

Kid: Hmmm...maybe you should leave some comments. MadamPhantomhive is always open to constructive criticism. Especially if it will improve her writing. And she has no idea if this is good or bad, so- *gets hit by me in rolly chair*

Me: Comments are appreciated! Have a nice life!
