Tanjiro pov:

I had gotten back from readying some charcoal for selling, my mother had called me.

"Come here Tanjiro! Your covered in soot! There."
She exclaimed as she wiped my face.

"Are you sure you want to go to sell charcoal today? It is new years after all."
Mother said

"Yes, I am sure. I want everyone to have a good new years."
I said

I talked with my siblings for a bit and left

I was returning from a long day of work and I stopped when I heard someone call my name. It was uncle saburo. He was calling me to sleep at his home for the night. I thought he was always lonely after he lost his family so I decided to stay.

We talked a bit, ate and slept.

I woke up said bye to Uncle saburo and thanked him for letting me sleep at his home.

I started walking up the mountain slowly and camly.

When I started to smell blood I got scared and started running without a second thought.

Nezuko! She's holding onto rokuta!

Was there a bear while I was gone? Was it not hibernating? Was it one of those demons uncle saburo was talking about?!

Oh no! Mom! Takeo! Shigeru! Hanako!

I cheacked their pulse everyone was dead. But Nezuko! She was still warm!

I need to get help!

I carried her and wrapped her in a haori and took a old sword that dad owned.

I started running down the hill looking for a doctor.

Tanjiro was a descendent of the tsugikuni bloodline.

He had known about sun breathing and had learnt it.

He had devloped his mark as well.

He just didn't know that demons exist

I was running down the hill when I felt someone coming towards our direction and I dogged them.
