MARIA SIGHED, STARING out of the window of the car with a bored look, wanting to go home already. She grumbles and looks at her father. "Why do I need to go to this school?" Maria asked, her accent showing. Her father rolled his eyes.

She never really had a good relationship with her father. He would never pay attention to her. He would call her a failure. It was never the same after her mother died. He used to be a nice man, until he figured out she was a werewolf. He didn't even know mother was a werewolf. Her father is a normie, he hated us so called 'outcasts.' And it shows. Maria just wanted someone to acknowledge her. So she resigned to pranking and troublemaking, he may acknowledge her for the wrong reasons as does everyone else, but at least he acknowledges her existence.

"Because your rebellious acts got you kicked out of most schools in Russia! And that's saying something!" Her father said sternly. "It's not my fault no school could actually handle me." Maria said, giving him a raised eyebrow. Her father glares at her before looking out the window of the car.

"You better behave at this school. If you get kicked out of this one, I'll be disowning you." Her father revealed, making her look up in shock. "What?!" She shouted, sitting up straighter. "Your a disappointment, I don't want to continue taking care of you unless you get your act together." Her father said, making eye contact with her. Maria growls. "Just because you failed to raise me, doesn't mean you get to criticise how I act, Because that's your fault!" Maria raised her voice.

SLAP

Maria's head is turned to the side, a cut on her face as her father lowers his hand, a satisfied glint in his eye. Maria slowly turns her head and looked at him with anger. "What the hell?!" She shouted, bringing a finger to the cut on her cheek, bringing it back revealing blood.

"Maybe that will teach you to shut up." Her father said. Maria looked at him with anger and sadness. "Just remember this, 'father' I will never think of you as one, to me. You are a stranger, pretending to care. You will never shut me up because I don't take orders from you. I'm grateful I'll be going to this school now, because I will be away from you! And there's people like me there! People you despise and that gives me pleasure, knowing your so called 'daughter' is making you mad because she's different from the 'normal' population." She laughed, throwing her head back as her 'father' rages.

He goes to say something, but the driver looks back. "We are here, Sir." The driver said to 'father'. Maria smiled, happy to be miles away from her father. She exits the car, as quickly as she can. She heads to the boot/trunk of the car, she opens it, seeing her suitcases. She looks up at the sky, seeing it's about evening. She drags the suitcases, walking a few steps behind her father as he walks towards the school entrance.

We see a tall, blonde lady at the entrance. "You must be Mr. Ivanov. I'm Principle Weems. Follow me. And, Ms. Ivanov you can leave your bags here. A member of staff will take them to your dorm as we talk in my office." Weems said, and Maria does as told, leaving her bags here.
