Young White was rolling in his bed, tomorrow was his and Black's first day of school. He was going to attend a middle school for the first time in his life, yet that thought of meeting new people his age didn't sound that bad at all. White was too excited for sure, Black could hear him rambling from the thin walls that divided their rooms.

White's room was plagued with glow in the dark stars, while Black's room was as plain as a regular room since he didn't bother to even get into any sort of media in order to get some posters or decorations. The only thing that managed to keep him staring to the wall was a black button up shirt and baggy navy blue pants along with a pair of black leather shoes resting on the floor.

Sawada and that sucker of Fujimura definitely chose the most obnoxious outfit ever, but at least he didn't have to attend somewhere with uniforms. Being out of Treasure Town or just out of Japan in general felt like a breath of fresh air for the brothers, which meant no more vigilante work (it was all Sawada's ordered). Black could hear White rambling to what he assumed was the huge lion plushie that the cop pair gifted him as a welcome present when they arrived at their new home.

"Tomorrow's the day, Agent Aka!" White said while hugging the color named plush with joy in his voice. ", I'll start middle school soon, they said my exam results average enough to get in!"

White fell back against the fluffy duvet with starfish scattered on it. The bed was way bigger than him that it almost made White feel like he was laying on a cloud. He stared at the stars in the sky for a little while before scratching his head and then knocking on the wall. Black snapped out from his peace of mind and leaned against the wall.

"What's up?" Black asked with a sleepy voice.

"Are you nervous about tomorrow, Black?" White questioned, with his voice cracking a little bit when mentioning his older brother. ". I heard Fujimura earlier telling you Highschool is sort of tough."

"Not at all" he answered back. ". Are you?"

"...Yes" White answered, knocking his head on the wall.

"Hey, it's okay, it's another environment in which we've never been in before" Black replied. ". It's a good thing we'll be in the same campus, we can meet up on lunchtime if you'd like, and if someone's bothering you, you're strong enough to come at 'em."

"Really?" White asked with broght hope in his face, which mirroed his voice, Black hummed affirmatively in response. ". Could you also promise me something?"

"Of course."

"You won't like it." White lowered his voice with a mischievous grin.

"I can't say I won't like it if I don't know what it is about." Black answered, slightly irritated by what said promise would be around.

"Try to make a friend, will you?" He said, Black stared at the void. ". That way you won't be alone while it's lunchtime, it might as well be fun if they joined us for lunch!"

"White, I..." Black tried to protest.

"No, Sawada said that what's in the past, stays in the past! That also means that our old lives are over and we will now be happy and have lots of friends that will go to the beach with us." White exclaimed.

Black stayed quiet.

"I hate when you're right..." he muttered. ". Alright, I promise."

Black could hear White's muffled giggles from the other side of the wall, so he just sighed and went back to bed.

"Go to sleep, dude!" Black exclaimed before closing his eyes to the sound of sheets rustling.

Then the both of them managed to sleep what was left of the night.

The next morning, Sawada went to wake up Black first. The blonde knocked on his door to make sure to get the older brother's permission to check in just in case he needed anything.

"Mornin' Black!" Sawada saluted cheerfully. Black groaned in response since it was quite early and he definitely found himself enjoying how comfortable the bed was. ". Did you sleep well?"

"Take a guess" Black sat on his bed as he spoke, rubbing his eyes gently due to the sudden hit of sun rays. Sawada let out a chuckle.

"You better hurry up and get dressed, White is already waiting for you to start breakfast downstairs " Sawada added before leaving Black to let him get ready.

The teen delinquent didn't have any choice but to get ready to avoid making his brother wait any longer. After putting everything on, he looked at himself in the mirror while holding his goggles in his hands. The clothes were quite comfortable to move around with, so were the pair of sneakers, but Black could still feel quite... off. He immediately put the goggles on and pushed them upwards to crown his buzzed hair, Black sniffed before nodding in agreement with his appearance and finally stepping out to the dinning table.

"Do you think our classes will be fun?" White asked Black while swinging his feet and bumping it against the front seat where Fujimura was driving, Sawada called shotgun. He was wearing his famous lion hat that combined with the outfit's color scheme.

"You'll find out soon enough White" Black answered his brother's question.

"It'll be fun White, there are a lot of fun things at school" Fujimura broke into the conversation, feeling nostalgia immediately by remembering his school days. "Ahh those were the days..."

"Do you think they'll love my hats, Sawada?" White cut Fujimura off, who silently scoffed.

"I'm pretty sure the kids will love your hats" Sawada answered kindly, then he saw a big school district at the side of the road. ". Okay kids, we're here!"

Fujimura stopped the car and turned to the back row where the siblings were sitting. He still couldn't believe that they were dropping off the infamous Cats to school.

"Listen up, behave and don't get into any trouble" He explained as he turned to Black. ". I'm serious, if I hear that you guys get into some serious fights you'll--"

"We won't, it wouldn't turn out great if we fought on the first day" Black cut Fujimura, who was about to continue some sort of sermon. ". No fighting, got it."

Black hopped out of the car, White followed him and closed the door behind him, he walked closer to Sawada's window to take a military salute posture with a serious face.

"Agent White is off to his hardest operation!" he exclaimed, Sawada smiled and pinched his nose.

"Good luck, Agents." he said, imitating White's gest while keeping the game up between them as he watched the siblings run off to class along with the other students.
