Outside of Ramshackle dormitory is where you three stood. The gate rusted and warped from time and weather. It looked more like a mansion version of an old shack.

Yuu was the first to speak up. "Uh, you want us to stay...here?"

"Isn't it delightful? Right, scoot inside now. There you go." Headmage Crowley chuckled playfully as he lightly shoved Yuu inside. You followed behind Crowley making sure to take in your surroundings.

Ramshackle lounge looked as if someone had tried to rob the place but, couldn't find anything anywhere.

"This should keep the elements at bay for the time being. Now, I should return to my research. Do try to find some way to busy yourselves." Crowley said as he walked towards the door. "When I return we shall discuss what you both shall be doing on this campus."

"Very well headmage." You said bowing your head slightly.

"Don't let me catch you wandering the campus! Ta!" He said before quickly leaving.

Your new friend, Yuu, sighed as he rubbed his temples. "It's like a desolate snowscape. Only with dust..."

"It'll all be fine. For now we will fix what is necessary, one example being the whole in ceiling." Snapping your fingers, stone hands appeared and began to repair the house. "Shall we share a room or sleep in separate spaces? I figured since it is cold at night you might like a heat source, such as myself, to keep you warm. Your human body will get sick if exposed to cold temperatures for too long." Your hands resting on his shoulders.

"Th-that would be nice. Thank you.. I-I appreciate it."

"Come. We should not waste time if we are to fix the bed to properly support both our weights."

The two of you then walked upstairs looking for a somewhat large bedroom that still contained an intact bed. You did eventually find one but it was still pretty run down. "Yuu. Can you please go find some spare wooden planks? I can fix up the room if I have the wood needed."

"I'll go look for some." Walking out he glanced at you before completely leaving your sight. Not even a second latter the pitter patter of rain could be heard from the outside.

"Looks like it's started to rain." You said to yourself.

After a few minutes of cleaning the room you could hear Yuu's voice from downstairs. "Guards! Guaaaaards!"

Hm? Why is Yuu calling for the guards?

"Guards! Guaaaaards!"

Rushing down the steps of the dorm you ran to Yuu and summoned your polearm, pointing it at Grim. "The floating weasel...? How did you get back in here?"

"I ain't a weasel! And my name is Grim!!"

"Why are you so determined to go to this school?" Yuu asked from behind your protective stance.

"Isn't it obvious? I was born to do this! I'm a magical prodigy who's got the makin's to become one of the greatest mages whoever lived! So I've been waitin' and waitin' for that black carriage to come for me. And yet..."

"Maybe I misjudged him. His personality is just so very obnoxious." You thought.

"Hrmph! That Dark Mirror's got no eye for talent! That's why I took the initiative and came here myself. You humans don't understand what a mistake you're makin'! Not lettin' me in is great loss to the world! Mrrao! C'mon, scoot over! I'm gettin' dripped on here!"

"Fine. But understand I am only allowing you in because I feel slight pity for you. You disrupt order which already makes you an annoyance." Making your polearm disappear you walked to the side.
