Following that… we were expelled for trashing the room, and the teachers believed we had murdered the principal. My mother abandoned me shortly after we were locked up. Asuka and I died in that prison.

Bad ending...

"Lady Martina!" I blinked my eyes wide, snapping back to reality. Shikari stood before me, her hands gently shaking my shoulders. What the heck is going on right now?

"Yes, Shikari-san?" I murmured, my gaze softening as I glanced her way.

She wore a light green quinceañera dress, satin fabric glimmering under the lights, floral embellishments lining the top with intricate detail. (Don’t ask me why she’s dressed like that... even I don’t know.)

Information from god
Martina, in a past life, once worked as a dressmaker. :P

"It’s time for you to take your Certificate!" she exclaimed cheerfully. Certificate? Oh… right. I finally remembered, slowly rising from my seat and making my way to the stage. My footsteps were deliberate as I climbed the steps, my eyes locking onto the woman with ginger hair waiting for me.

As soon as I touched the certificate, cheers erupted from the crowd. Applause rang through the hall, echoing off the walls.

"Martina Rikaris, we thank you for your bravery in saving the academy from Luis!" the ginger-haired woman declared, clapping enthusiastically.

Yes. I was now a hero of this academy, as you may have heard. I stopped that pedo from terrorizing the school. Even though Asuka is the one who actually stabbed him, she refused to take credit. She’s too kind for her own good.

"Because of your bravery, everyone in the academy gets a holiday to visit their families!" she added, her voice booming with excitement. Wait. What?

The crowd burst into wild cheers. A holiday? I get to visit Mother! I hoped she wouldn’t be upset by my bandaged arm… and i wonder what is her reaction to literally being deceived by the previous principal.

After delivering my speech, I descended the stage. A large crowd swarmed me, thanking me and showering me with praise. Their words blurred together, and my discomfort grew.

As always, Shikari helped pull me away from them, her grip steady and reassuring. Asuka helped too, even though I could see the anxiety on her face.

When the crowd finally dispersed, one of the guys from the Anomalous Magic group leaned against the wall, smirking. "Asuka! Wanna join us for lunch?" he called out.

Asuka smiled gently but shook her head. "Go eat with the others! I have something to do," she replied sweetly. The group nodded and left, blending with those from the Controlled Magic faction. It was odd seeing them so…civil. No tension. No hostility.

It’s like the conflict had ended.

"So, are you guys excited to see your families?" I asked, glancing between Shikari and Asuka. They exchanged glances, then smiled.

"I don’t need to visit them. I always call them with my Family Core," Shikari said, pulling out a necklace with a beautiful, shimmering crystal. It glowed faintly in her hand. My jaw nearly dropped. Isn’t that expensive? And rare?

"I… don’t really feel like seeing them right now," Asuka murmured, fiddling with her short white hair, eyes cast downward.

I blinked in surprise. "Huh? Then what are you guys planning to do during the holiday?" I asked. What could they possibly do for an entire day without plans?

They looked at each other, then back at me, grinning.

"We’re going to visit your family!" they said in unison, their voices bright with enthusiasm.

Visit… Mother? Eh? I guess that’s fine. Just… I hope they don’t make me look bad in front of her.

The holidays finally arrived, and the academy was silent… eerily so. We are in my carriage.

"What’re you reading, Lady Martina?" Asuka asked, scooting closer to me. I smiled warmly and showed her the title of the book.

"Ahh... That sounds interesting! Let’s read it together!" Shikari chirped, grabbing my right arm.

I paused, glancing at the text once more. Before I could process it, I felt a hand gripping my left arm as well. I turned to see Asuka holding onto me, her cheeks slightly flushed.

"I-I also want to read it!" she stammered, pouting slightly. I shook my head in disbelief but let them stay where they were. As I continued reading, I caught them sneaking glances at each other. I groaned and rolled my eyes.

Those two really ought to be friends.

After a long, nerve-wracking carriage ride, we finally arrived at my home. My castle loomed before us, grand and unique in design. Shikari and Asuka gaped in awe as I led them inside, searching for my mother. When we entered the dining hall, I froze.

It wasn’t a corpse that greeted us. But maybe it was worse.

Six women surrounded my mother! She was grinning widely, holding a fork with cake stabbed onto it, feeding it to a woman with brown hair. Behind her, three white-haired women bickered loudly, a blue-haired woman trying desperately to separate them. Floating next to them was a gray-haired woman, nose buried in a book, oblivious to the chaos.

What the hell is going on? Where did all these people come from? Shikari and Asuka looked just as bewildered as I felt. I stared in shock until my mother finally noticed me.

"Ah, Martina," she said warmly. All the women turned to face me at once. Shit… my anxiety spiked. Silence stretched as their gazes bore into me.

"Ah! Hello, my daughter!" one of the white-haired triplets called out with a cheerful smile.

Daughter?!

My legs wobbled, and I took a shaky step back. My head spun with questions, and before I knew it, I collapsed. Asuka and Shikari lunged forward, catching me before I hit the ground. My vision swam, and I struggled to make sense of what was happening.

"Oh? Did my manly face make her faint?" one of them joked.

"It’s not, stupid," another retorted.

"Yeah, I agree with Shino. She probably fainted from my prettiness!" the third chimed in, her voice identical to the others.

"Not even close," a deep, sultry voice chimed in, sounding unimpressed.

"G-Guys, s-stop fighting!" a high-pitched voice squeaked nervously.

"Y'all, don’t fight now! Martina fainted!" a soft, motherly voice scolded, footsteps clicking as she approached me.

"Martina! Are you alright?" my mother asked, voice shaking with concern. I fluttered my eyes open, sitting up too quickly and headbutting one of the white-haired women. She yelped, clutching her forehead.

"Ah! Martina, you’re awake!" the brown-haired woman exclaimed, pulling me into a tight hug. My mind reeled, barely processing what was happening.

"What in the heck is going on?!" I demanded, my voice trembling. Mother glanced at me, her expression awkward and tense.

I glared at her. "Care to explain, Mother?"

She rubbed her neck nervously, her smile strained. "Um… so…"

"They’re your fathers…" she finally said.

What the actual hell.
