This is my first fan fiction and I absolutely y fell in love with Junjo Romantica so I figured why not make a good well written fan fiction about it! All the couples will be in on this cause it's gonna be long! Ps. I don't own Junjo Romantica!

Misaki Takahashi's older brother Takahiro has recently gotten engage to Manami Kajiwara, the daughter of a duchess. Now Manami has moved in with Takahiro and Misaki because her mother the duchess doesn't prove of the relationship. Takahiro also doesn't have enough money to officially wed Manami and Manami is still considered a bachelorette. Misaki feels like a burden to the both of them, but he has no where else to go since his parents died in a horse drawn carriage accident and he can't support himself financially. Times are tough as a peasant. So in order to make up for that Misaki does all the house and farm work to make life easier for his big brother and sister in law. Takahiro and Manami have started to take advantage of Misaki, but Misaki still feels that his number one responsibility is Takahiro's happiness. Takahiro didn't got to college in order to raise Misaki after all.
Misaki's Pov
I was washing the windows of the cottage when I heard nii-chan calling me in an annoyed voice. MISAKI! I sighed and dropped my rag on the window seal rushing to my brother. I found him in his bedroom with a pout on his face and a his hand pointed to the unmade bed. Aww crap! I forgot to make up Nii-chan's bed and now he's pissed. I sighed. Yes, I answered looking at the ground because I knew what the problem was. Misaki you forgot to make my bed! At least act a little a like a devoted little brother. That last sentence stung like a shot. What! How could he say that, I'm trying my best here to make life just a little better for him and Manami .
Right before I could respond there was a knock at the door. Misaki, the door!, Manami. I looked at Takahiro, excused myself, and bolted to the door. Manami was sitting on the couch next to the door, reading a newspaper. The heck! For crying out loud at least answer the door you're sitting right there! I huffed and turned the knob of the front door. Shinobu was standing at the front door smiling, which is something he doesn't do often, and a golden sealed letter in his hand. Shinobu was wearing a big hat with the royal crest on it with a navy shirt and pants that looked very expensive. Hey Shinobu, what's up? I smiled at him hoping that there was something good in that envelope. Here, he said slamming the envelope into my hands. Geez what's the fuss all ab.... I stopped midsentence as I pulled out the letter from the gold sealed envelope and read the first sentence.
Greetings to the Takahashi family, You're all invited to the Usami Manor for the Courting Ball tomorrow night at 10:00pm.
Heck Yeah I'm going to the Usami manor and for a ball too! Nii-san and Nee-san we'll be so happy to go. Misaki I'm glad you finally get a break from this heck hole for once, Shinobu said with a smirk. It's not a heck hole they're my family, they're just under stress from the rejected engagement that's all!, I said raising my voice unconsciously. Shinobu closes the front door and pulls me further outside. Misaki you have to keep this ball a secret, Shinobu whispered to me. Huh why?, I asked I was confused. You wanna go don't you well if the two of them found out the- Keep what a secret, asked an annoyed voice from behind. I looked behind me. What now. I sighed as Takahiro stood in front of me and snatched the letter out of my hand. I kept quiet as he read it. He smiled, but then his expression turned dark as he fully read the royal letter.

Greetings to the Takahashi Family, You're all invited to the Usami Manor for the Courting Ball tomorrow night at 10:00pm. The ball has been held to find wives for the sons of King Usami Fuyuhiko. Prince Akihiko and Prince Haruhiko. Both princes will attend the ball to court eligible royal ladies until a suitable has been found for both princes. Families with a noble member have been invited to attend the ball for fun. The royal member of the Takahashi Residence is Manami Kajiwara who is ordered to attend the ball to be courted by both princes or chosen as a bride to be for whichever prince. If unable to attend without proper reason such as unofficial betrothed, or other excuses will be banished from the Usami Kingdom.
Manami... Takahiro handed the letter back to me and silently walked back into the house slamming door behind him. I read the whole letter and by the time I was done tears were in the edges of my eyes. I looked up to Shinobu who was standing there with a puzzled look on his face. Manami.......Courting.......Banishment.... Is all I could utter out as I began to cry.
