The last bell rang and my heart skipped a beat. I was so happy that the school day was over. I grabbed my backpack and headed for the door. Bree had texted me earlier and said to meet her and Ryan in front of the school.

As stupid as it sounds, I was speed-walking and looking down at my phone. I was texting her how fun it was going to be.

Suddenly, I bumped hard into a tall figure. I stumbled back a few steps. It almost felt like I ran into a brick wall.

I looked up as the two figures turned around. I felt like my heart stopped.

It was of course Aries, and next to him was his what I assumed was his friend, Joseph. It looked like they were always together.

“Hey, it’s the girl with no name,” He folded his arms while Joseph quietly chuckled. I could feel my blood softly rising to my cheeks in embarrassment. I had to stop myself from blushing. Even if he was really handsome.

“I do have a name,” I said quietly, looking anywhere but him. Aries looked down at me and smirked. When I looked up and saw his smirk, I felt as if I was going to faint. He was to beautiful for his own kind.

Everyone was quiet for a bit until Joseph just walked away without saying anything. But Aries still stood there with his arms crossed.

“Yeah, like I believe that, Angel.” He said with the same voice volume as I used when I answered him.

There is no way that he just used a nickname. I barely know him! I thought to myself.

I could feel that my cheeks were growing red. I just ignored him and tried to walk past him. But he moved to block me.

“Ugh, can you move?” I glared at him.

“I mean I could,” He teased.

I knew he was enjoying this.

“I would move if you were just nice to me and told me your name,” He said while he moved his folded arms and one of them to his hip and the other to his side.

I was getting more and more annoyed.

“Fine, I’m Alex,” I said with all the annoyance I could put in my voice.

“Now move,” I said as I tried to push past him. But he moved in time for me just to bump into the side of his chest. I realized that I felt that he worked out. My heart skipped a beat again as I backed up again, failing again trying to move past him.

But when i looked up at him I could see that his facial expression changed from teaseing to more of a slight frown. He suddenly moved aside and walked away.

As confused as I was, I remembered about Bree and Ryan. I ignored my feeling of confusion and ran out the school doors and down the steps of the school.

“Where were you? What took you so long?” Bree asked.

“Sorry, something came up. Sorry, it took so long.” I lied as I looked at Ryan and Bree standing there in confusion.

“Mhm, whatever you say, Alex,” Ryan said.

“Come on let's go get something to eat and go walk down the pier.” Bree and I agreed and got into my car. Ryan had a black Coupe car that he was proud of. Mostly cause his family got him his car too.

By the time we got to the pier, it was already 5:28pm. And all three of us went to a small cafe that served small pastries.

We laughed and talked for a while. We paid for the food and walked to our local arcade. Which was across from the pier. As we got our coins, Bree started to talk.
