We get to our/her house. I grab my big ass bag and dump it on the bed of my room. My room is very mellow but I love it. It's has a vibrant green. I just love it, I can't explain it.
"Do you like it ?" I hear a voice say.
"Yes I do. I love it, like I love it so much that I'm speechless" I respond to her. She looks back over at me and I see her having a tear down her rose red checks.
"Is everything alright?" I ask, walking over to her hugging her.
"Everything is amazing".... "Your just so grown up now, I remember when you were first born, you were just a little infinite. And now look at you. You took your own flight, your 13, I just can't right. Okay just remember that I love you and that your always my little Katie no matter how old you are."
"Okay. Yeah I know, forever......no matter what" I whisper into her shoulder.
She walks out of my room. I unzip my suitcase and pull out all of my clothes. I put them into my drawers and my closet. I put on some high waisted black shorts, a white crop top and my white high top converse and my black bandana like a headband. I grab my whit, blue, and pink penny board. I tell my aunt that I'm going to be skateboarding.
As my way out that house I walk down that stairway/patio in front of the house door, but way out I see boys out side playing basketball. "Oh crap" I thought to myself. I noticed they haven't spotted me yet. As soon I set my board down to ride, I hear the door creak open. I look back and see my aunt staring at me.
"Here you go." She says holding a phone out. I take the phone and she said that her number, moms number, and my brother number is already in the phone. I take the phone say thanks and put it into my back pocket, "you should probably friends since your going to be here for a while."
"Yeah I'll try." I smile and she leaves and so do I. I ride by the boys and they have all their daws drop like they've never seen a girl skateboard. I get about around the edge of the court/driveway and I remember what my aunt said to make friends. I turn around and go over to the boys.
"Hi I'm Katie." I say with a smile
"Hi I'm Nate, and this is Kenny, Jack and this is Sammy." The boy in the Bulls jersey says holding the ball.
"Want to go boarding with me?" I ask "maybe y'all can show me around her, I just moved here with my aunt." I also put out there pointing to the house.
"Sure" they all say going and grabbing their boards.
We ride into the the sunset like a pack.
"Well Katie, how long are you going to be here for." Nate says with a lot of dimple action.
"I'm meant to be here for the rest of the summer break and if I want maybe for the rest of my middle school years." I say smiling back. I hear a bunch of "yessss" around me. I look back and see all of them smiling.
We make a right and I see a in-n-out. I ask if we want to go there and we all say sure. We go over there eat burgers and go back home. I invite them to my house to eat and I walk and see my aunt with two different people. I thought that they were married.
"Mom? Dad?" I hear behind me.
"Boys?" I the couple say confused.
I was the one who was confused though.
"Katie I've seen you've meet the boys." My aunt says
"Yeah I have" I say still confused .
"Well we were just talking about the trip we thinking about taking with each other." My aunt said
"We're going outside to eat this food." Kenny said quietly.
We walk outside and eat our food.

*OUTSIDE*
"What do you think we are going for this 'trip'?" I ask to the boys
"I don't know, maybe Disneyland" Sammy suggested
"Maybe universal studios, maybe Disney world, maybe universal Orlando," everyone keep screaming out. But one stood out more than any....
"Maybe we are going to Omaha Nebraska?" A quiet voice puts out there. Everyone looks at the that voice, it was Jack. All the boys started to get tears except for Kenny.
"Why Omaha?" I ask confused.
Jack replies "almost all of us are from Omaha, it's our birth place. Also Kenny is from Arizona."
"Oh" .... There was long silence. "But what if we do go to Omaha we could probably do so much, maybe you guys remember some stuff about it and we can go see what they are. Epically what if we yalls birth parents, like come on wouldn't you guys like that?" I try to cheer things up but it doesn't work.
"Yeah BUT WHAT IF WE DONT, WHAT IF WE DONT REMNER ANYTHING OR MEET OUR PARENTS. It's just not fair that everyone else has perfect birth parents and we don't-"
I cut in "I don't have adopted parents but I lost my dad at a young age." I spill, with a bunch of tears running down my face.
"Oh I'm very sorry." They all say
"No I'm sorry I should have never said anything or even asked the question."
"No you should have a asked the question cause now we are closer." Kenny says with his optimistic vibe.
We all get up and hug. We walk back inside and our parents tell us that we are going to six flags and Disneyland and also that lat r this summer were going to Omaha. We look at each other with shook and giant grins on out faces.
