Felicity's POV
"Mum!!!! I don't want to go to school!" I whined as she dragged me down the stairs of the house.
"Sweetie, you have to go, it's your first day of school!" my mother replied.
"But, I don't know anyone," I sighed, "what if I don't make any friends? Why did we have to move?" stomping my way to the front door, asking a million questions.
"We had to move because of money, I got a new job here so, this is where we'll be" she answered grabbing my bag and placing it on my back.
"Oh..." I frowned.
"C'mon Sweetie, you are gonna miss the bus and I'm late for work!" she said while opening the front door and pushing me out along with her, "the neighbour's son is your age and is going to the same school as you so he'll pick you up and bring you to the bus stop. Bye honey, have a fun first day of 4th Grade, love you!" she said kissing my cheek and running out to her car and driving away leaving me alone on the front porch to wait for someone I don't even know.
"Bye mom" I mumbled as a sat on the front steps watching as she drove away.
Ugh, don't want to go. Why does school even exist. I hate first days of school, you don't know anyone, especially if you are new at to the school, too. Mommy please, come back!
Ugh.
I'm bored, I'm gonna read a book now.I took out my Harry Potter: Prisoner of Azkaban copy out of my bag and began to read. After reading my way through the book for about 3 minutes. I felt something hit my head. Then again and again.
"Oww!" I yelled as I shielded my head with my book and yelling 'STOP!'
Then whatever that was hitting me stopped and I slowly took the book away from my face and looked straight ahead at the source.
A small boy with curly brown hair and green eyes stood staring at me a few metres away then he spoke up
"Hi um..." he started off, "are you..." he paused and looked at his wrist where is looked like he had written something and continued, "Felicity?" I nodded and he came up to me and grabbing my hand dragging me towards somewhere;
probably the bus stop."Hi sorry! I'm William but, you could call me Will!" he said looking away from me, still holding my hand and dragging me, "we have to hurry or else we'll miss the bus" he explained.
And we both started to run down the street then we finally stopped at a stop sign at the end of the road and waited. I hunched down so my hands were placed on my knees to catch my breathe.
"This is the bus stop" he explained," I'll be bringing you here every morning and walking you home from here after school, okay?"
I nodded.Soon after he explained that, a large yellow bus came out of nowhere stopping in front of us. And the door opened.
"C'mon!" he yelled motioning me to follow him onto the bus.
As soon as I got onto the bus, I was hit by the loud yells of the other kids already on it.
I sat in the first empty seat I found and Will soon came and sat beside me.I looked at him for a while then looked out the window, watching the blur as we quickly zoomed passed buildings and other things.
"You don't speak much, do you?" I heard a voice say then I turned and looked at the boy I sat beside. I nodded. And he simply smiled back at me and said " That's cool!" And looked away.
After awhile the bus came to a stop and we were stopped in front of a small school.
"Felicity! Come on!" Will yelled, pulling me up off the seat and again dragging me off the bus and into the school.
