Chapter 24: Planning

After 3 weeks of business preparations, hiring of my team...Its finally going to operate in few days. We rented the commercial space that Nico was suggesting to us. I moved in to Nico's old unit and He is now staying on his new unit, same condominium but his new unit is on the new building of the condominium.

*ring*ring*

"Hello!" I answered my phone

"Hi! Sweetie! How's my daughter doing?" Mom asked.

"Hey Mom! Im here at the shop, will be having a final meeting with my staff for our grand opening in 3 days." I replied.

"This is it, Patty. I wish you luck sweetie. Im very proud of you! I'll see you!" Mom said.

"Thanks Mom! Love you! See you!" I uttered then hang up the phone.

"Ms. Patty, the team is ready." Kathy my personal secretary informed me.

"Thanks Kathy, I'll be there in 1 minute." I replied.

I met my teamand discussed our final planning for my grand opening.

"Ms. Patty, I've already confirmed with all our suppliers." Roselle said. She's my assistant head for planning.

"Ms. Patty, here's our proposal for the set-up of the place." Kevin showed me their floor plan, He's my assistant head the designing plan.

"Ms. Patty, destribution of invitations done since yesterday." Kathy reported.

"Good job everyone! Let's do this! Good luck to us this Saturday. Let's cross our fingers. Anything else? Just approach me." I said.

"By the way Kathy, please call Interior Furnitures and tell them to deliver our furnitures on Sunday or Monday, after our opening event. Thanks!" I instructed Kathy.

"Hi babe! Busy?" Vince came for a surprise visit.

"Hun! Your here? Why? You should be at work.." I uttered.

"Yeah! But I want to check on you!" Vince uttered.

"Kathy, How's your boss? Is she a terror to all?" Vince asked Kathy.

"No sir. Vince, infact Ms. Patty is very hands on and open to all suggestions and listens, which the staff likes about Ms. Patty." Kathy replied.

"Way to go Babe! Alright, have to go.. Meeting.." He said

"Oh, okay. Thanks for the visit hun! See you later." I replied then he kissed me on my lips and winked at my staff then walked out the shop as fast as he can.

"Ms. Patty, you both look so good together." Kathy uttered.

I smiled blushing and said "you guys...lets go back to work."

So the day went on, I asked Kathy, Roselle and Kevin to stay at my unit for the rest o te night since were working overtime today.

I called Vince..

"Hi Hun! Were running overtime today, my staff is stating at my place just for tonight. Would it be okay to aske a favor!" I said

"Sure Babe, what is it?" He replied

"Can you bring us food? Dinner?" I asked

"Alright Babe! What would I order?" He asked.

"Your call. Any. Maybe chicken or pizza? Your choice Hun." I replied

"Thanks Hun! See you! Drive safely." I added then hang up.

"Guys, let's pack up and transfer to my unit." I said.
