Xiao escorted Lumine to the entrance of Liyue Harbor, just as the sun began to set. It was Lantern Rite, and for the two of them, it was akin to a tradition for him to bring her there.

At this point, Lumine had already reunited with her brother, Aether. Aether had planned to meet them in the city with Paimon (who had been much too excited for Liyue cuisine that she couldn't wait). Morax had released Xiao from his contract, though Xiao still occasionally continued to eliminate demons.

"Hey, Xiao?" Lumine asked suddenly as they stood near the edge of a cliff, looking upon the sunset. She was turned away from the edge with intrigued golden pupils. "Is that another ghost? Like Dusky Ming?"

Xiao looked in her direction, seeing a transparent figure of a young girl appearing a couple years younger than both Xiao and Lumine. "Huh?"

Lumine walked up to her, a bright smile on her face. "Hello! What's your name?"

"You don't need to know," the ghost said silently, turning to walk away.

Xiao squinted his eyes at the faded girl, feeling a strong sense of deja-vu. "Who are you?" he questioned, feeling as if some forgone memory had slipped from his mind.

The girl grinned brightly, her smile of only pure happiness. "Nobody." She bowed her head slightly, hands clasped together tightly.

"I'm just glad you're happy."
