September 28, 2013, the day of the outbreak.
I remember it like it was yesterday.
Everything broke into chaos, people were running for their lives, hoping that just maybe they'll be safe. Hoping that maybe the Detroit police will save them, but they couldn't.
Not even the military would, mainly because they left us all for dead. All the government did was send out a global emergency broadcast, that gave the public no information that could serve helpful.
If only I could get those words out of my head, and forget.
"This is a global announcement from the united states government. Recently you may have noticed an abnormal amount of strange activities. We want to assure you that everything is under control. We advise that everyone remains in their homes and lock the doors. Do not open your doors until further instructions. Don't worry, for the brave men and women who serve this country will continue to do so. We will update you daily on the outbreak of the infected. We hope you all the best of luck, and may god bless America".
