Chapter Forty-One

Y/Ns P.O.V

Everyone was packing, getting ready to move out of U.A. and back home for the holiday or in my years case, for the rest of our lives. Aside from me, I would be coming back when the new school year started to move into 1-A's new alliance, as they'll come back to be in 2-A. Whilst I'll also have a room in the reacher's alliance, after all, me and Shota would be the only two teachers away from the teachers alliance as 1-A was considered the cause for concern with them being the class to get attacked all the time, and the only class at that.

I was almost done when I heard a knocking on my door, I left the box I was packing to go over to the door. Opening it I saw Nemuri stood there in casual clothes instead of her hero costume. “Hello cub, I was just coming over to ask if you wanted to go out for a celebratory drink? All us teachers are going to be there!” I smiled “I would love to Nem, but I'm not allowed to drink.” She looked at me before realising “Right, your half fox! Don't worry, you don't have to drink alcohol, I'm sure the others will but it's not a requirement.”

I let out a breath “Nem, being half fox would probably just intoxicate me quicker. I'm only 18 Nem, unless we're going for drinks in the UK, I can't have alcohol for another two years.” She let out an 'oh' before nodding “Yeah, forgot about that... So, do you want to come? I kind of bribed Sho to come along by saying you'll be there.” I sighed before nodding “Sure.” She smiled and pointed to me with both hands as she began to walk away “You won't regret this!”

I had gotten changed in preparation for the night when a knock sounded on my door, I went over expecting it to be the member of staff Nemuri mentioned about picking me up, but it was Nejire. She jumped on me in a hug “I can't believe we all won't be neighbours soon! You have to promise you'll keep in touch!” She stepped back, keeping her hands on my shoulders. I nodded and she grinned until she looked down, she let go of my shoulders “Where are you going all dressed up like that? Did someone snatch you up at the party and that's why I couldn't find you?” I let out a breath.

“The teachers have asked me out for a celebratory drink, and I spent the party outside because the music was a little too loud.” She nodded slowly before giving me a side eye “So, no boyfriend?” I just smiled at the reminder of how I spent the party “There is a boyfriend! Who is it?”

“Y/n, are you ready?” I looked over to see Shota wearing black suit trousers with a white button up shirt, the sleeves folded at his elbows with a few buttons undone at the top of his shirt. I nodded and stepped out of my room, closing the door “Sorry Nejire but I've got to go, I'll catch up with you later!” I smiled to her before turning to Shota and walking over, after walking for a bit I entwined my fingers with his. I saw the small smile creep onto his face.

He then spoke “You look beautiful.” I looked up at him and smiled “Thank you! You look good as well, however, I expected you to be a full suit guy or no suit at all.” He chuckled and looked down towards me “Well, you assumed I was a mysterious guy within a relationship.” I laughed and asked “So this is the mystery? Will it be a suit, half a suit, or no suit, we shall never know!” He chuckled and looked forward again “Well, I wasn't going to wear a suit to the place we're going, but I wasn't going in just anything because it's a meeting with colleagues. There will be some upholding of appearances.” I raised an eyebrow and looked at him “You've cared about that before?”

He stopped and pulled me to be up against a wall, putting our joined hands on the wall next to my head. Placing his other hand on the wall next to my hip he leaned down “No, but tonight isn't just drinks with colleagues, it's a celebration of me getting to spend more time with you.” I smiled and decided to jokingly add “That isn't why I worked for the job but it's definitely a perk!” He hummed and leaned his head down more, connecting his lips with mine.
