Hi guys! This is my first story on Wattpad:D SORRY IF IT'S SHORT! I started working on Seoul's chapter a little earlier than I expected and I rushed on Mystique's first chapter! Sorry! Anyways...Enjoy! Sorry if it sucks...

~Mystique Tyler's POV (3rd Person Limited)~

Mystique lay awake on my small bed and stare up at the ceiling, it was another day...another day in the facility. Mystique sighed, half of her body was covered with her mother's finely knitted quilt while the other half hang off the small stretched bed. The aroma of dust circled around her nose and the light from the programed sun peeking from the cracks of my dimmed window above her.

She hauled her aching body off the stiff bed and glanced into the wardrobe, clothes made of fine silk were hidden behind her...shall I say casual? Clothing. Mystique gently touched the black t-shirt and felt the fabric in between her thumb and index finger. Mystique sighed and peeled off her old pajamas and slipped on her black t-shirt and black skinny jeans. Mystique unwillingly combed her uncontrollable fire red  colored hair and put it up in a tight pony tail. She sighed and glanced at the jacket that hung on her small stand up mirror. Mystique slowly wrapped it around her petite body and ran down the creaky stairs.

"Good Morning," Her mother smiled as she was walking into the old, shabby living room.

"Morning Mom,"  Mystique said walking towards thhe door.

"Sweetie are you really going out now?" She asked the brightness in her eyes dimming.

"Sorry Mom, I've got to go do something with Brandyn!" She yelled while walking out the door.

The stench of burning tires swirled around Mystique's nose as she walked down the street, whispers were drowning her ears. Everyone around the hell bound facility was whispering about news from above, where the true danger was...where all the fun truly was.

"Hey Mystic," Brandyn said.

Brandyn was the only one who ever called Mystique Mystic. She spun around and found him smiling straight at her, his curly mahgony colored hair shining under the fake sun. Mystique smiled at him and waved. He was the only person she could trust...well...maybe.

"Hey Brandyn," Mystique said smiling.

"There really isn't anything going around right now why are you here?" Brandyn asked.

"No idea," She chuckled as she looked up at the programed sky. It was told to be as blue as the outside sky, but who know right? Only people from 1,000 years ago could probably anwser that.

"I hear there is going to be another meeting."

"Yeah, I know. I heard about it too."

"Is that why you're here?"

"No," Mystique whispered.

"Hmm," Brandyn mumbled. "I wonder if they're going to recruit people for the army."

"If so, then I'm going to do it."

"Figured," Brandyn smiled.

He's always known of Mystique's wish of fighting alongside those who are good, she had always wanted to step outside the facility and see what the true sun really looks like, the true feeling of the burning rays on her skin.

"Hey," Mystique said. "Look."

Mystique pointed her finger towards a run down fortune telling clinic. Her eyes filled with wonder and curiosity. Slowly she started to walk towards the shop when Brandyn grabbed her hand.

"Why are you going in there?" Brandyn asked his grip begining to tighten.

"Brandyn let go." Mystique said tugging at her hand. "I want to see what would happen if I truly where going to go outside."

Unwillingly, Brandyn let go. Mystique smiled brightly at him and ran towards the shop. As she pushed the door open, a strange and mystic sent filled her nose. It was like spices and herbs with a hint of mint.

"Hello dear," A low raspy voice arose from the air around her.

Mystique spun her heel and found a man staring down at her, an old scarlet robe wrapped around him like a blanket. The tips of his mouth began to tilt, it seemed as if he was plannign something.

"Is there something you need?" He asked as his eyes began to brighten.

"I'm here for a fortune. I want to know my future if I were to leave the facility."

"Wonderful my dear," The man grinned. "Come, sit anywhere and let me tell you the future."

Mystique's eyes glanced back and forth across the small shop, trying to find a seat. Finally she settled on to a small stool. The man closed his eyes, hiding the gray and touched the cards that lay in front of him. His breathing was slowly and heavy, quickly he drew four cards from the pile. His grin disappeared.

“A very compelling love story awaits you; the dangers above will terrify you…and the persuasion of each side will drive you insane.” He whispered his voice as soft as silk. “Are you sure you want to rise above? Go against fate and join a side? Do you not want to remain here? What about your family and friends?”

Mystique smiled and glared into his piercing gray eyes, “You must very well know that we choose our own destiny, fate has nothing to do with this.”

Slowly the corners of his mouth slightly tipped up into a devilish smile. “Very well…”
