Do you believe in destiny? I didn't but what happened recently made me change my opinion. From seeing a random guy in a shrine to meeting him for the third time and now becoming besties with my crush, it all seems like destiny.

Siddhart and I have become pretty close within the past few weeks, we go on hours-long calls and text the whole day. He and Uncle Manish now visit us frequently, we go on dinners and spend a lot of time together when our parents discuss business for hours. Sid is sometimes flirty but in a healthy way, he is a proper gentleman and the funniest guy alive, I'm not even kidding. He is smart and scores well, he's into sports and tech as well. He's the perfect guy for me. For others sometimes I can't say that; because he is rude and cold to strangers and crooks but he is the warmest and the sweetest person to me.

One fine day our parents decided they had to go on a business trip but I couldn't go with them because I had my mid-terms so Manish uncle asked Siddharth to also stay behind and take care of me and also tutor me coz I could use some academic help. Sid moved into my house for a week till our parents were away. He used to study with me and clear all my doubts. Then we used to order food cause neither of us could cook. At night we used to watch a movie before going to bed.

One night when I was selecting a movie to watch, Sid came in with a bowl of popcorn and sat beside me.

"What are we watching?"
"I don't know, I don't have anything in mind. What do you wanna watch?"
"You!"
"What?"
"I wanna watch you"
"acha. Be serious! now, which movie do you wanna watch?"
"none"
Sid looked annoyed.
"Hey! what's wrong?"
"I tell you about my feelings and all you care about is some stupid movie. That's what's wrong."
"Confess your feelings? When?"
"When I said I wanna watch you."
"How's that a confession! You are flirting with me, I thought this was also you just flirting with me, how was I supposed to know that you really meant it! If you wanted to confess then you should've confessed to me properly."
"What? How is one supposed to confess properly? What am I supposed to do to make you understand my feelings? I have been giving you hints from the start but you considered it flirting and you never get my hints."
"That's because I thought you were just joking around."
"Well, now I am saying it Aahana. The first time I saw you in that temple, my mind was blown away, I started liking you from that second and for you, I came to that temple every day just so I could get a glance of you and when you didn't come I used to get disappointed then that Sunday I saw you in your car, you were looking gorgeous and all I could think at that moment was that I should've come sooner. Then when I saw you again at the wedding it felt like destiny was trying to get us together. At first, I fell for your looks but when I got to know you I realised you are more than just a beautiful face, you have an irresistible personality as well. You are kind, generous, funny, ambitious, honest, and wild. Everything about you makes me want you more and more. And I hope you feel the same way about me"
"I-I don't understand. Really? Me?"
"Really, you!"
"Sid, the moment I saw you I had an instant crush on you and till now every day my liking for you keeps increasing."
"Really?"
"Really."

He leaned in and I had my first kiss. The guy I had been waiting for finally came to me. It was all like a sweet dream, my unfinished love was finally finished or so I thought...
