A/N: I'm baaackkkkk! Thought you seen the last of me?
"The time has come." I said dramatically as the fan blew my hair.
"Time for what?" Eijirou said, his mouth full of food.
We were all eating breakfast. Normally I'd be half dead but today my energy was through the roof. It was a week until I had to go to the family reunion and most importantly the Annual Dodgeball game. I haven't come up with any special moves so I was gonna use this week to come up with something deadly. A little knot formed in my stomach. I haven't seen my family in two years. They're gonna ask questions...a lot of questions.
Whatever I can handle it. I'm great at deflecting. Katsuki always says so.
"Chew your food idiot." Katsuki said, shoving a napkin toward him.
"It's time for the annual family dodgeball tournament," I said, turning the fan off. "All that unwilling training might pay off, I can feel it."
"Oh yea, when are we going?" Katsuki asked.
"I was thinking you guys could maybe sit this one out?" I said as I smiled nervously.
"....what?"
"I didn't tell my mom we were semi-engaged yet! And I have a WHOLE OTHER BOYFRIEND now!!" I whined.
"So you don't wanna get any flak for it?" Katsuki said. "That's too bad. I'll visit your grave every year, don't worry."
"Katsuki!"
"Die mad."
"Wait what are we talking about?" Eijirou asked, looking between the both of us.
We froze mid-argument. I guess both of us forgot to tell him.
"So my family has this dodgeball competition every year and it's INTENSE. I'm talking bragging rights for a whole year. Wishes from every single member of the family at your disposal." I said. "And all the glory you could ask for!" I slammed my hand on the table. "It's a competition for the ages!"
"Oooh, sounds fun! I wanna go." Eijirou said excitedly
"The only thing about that is family members can only participate i.e. if you participate I gotta explain how you're part of the family."
"And she doesn't wanna face her scary ass mom when she finds out her daughter didn't bother to tell her shit until she had to face the music." Katsuki finished.
I glared at him.
"Is her mom really that scary?" Eijirou asked.
"She threatened to gut me for cursing when we met."
"Oh. Then I should prepare huh?"
"You still wanna go after hearing that?" I said to him.
"Yea I wanna meet your parents too," Eijirou said after swallowing his food. "Unless you don't want me to?"
"What? No!"
"Wow Y/N I can't believe this after all this time. Was it just his body?" Katsuki jumped in, holding back a laugh.
"Guys!"
"The only way to move past this is to let me go to your family thing," Eijirou said, wiping fake tears. "It's the only way!"
"Being dramatic is my schtick. How are you gonna steal my schtick?"
"Cuz it works on you." Katsuki said.
"Because you have funny reactions when we do." Eijirou said.
"You both suck."
"Yea, yea." Katsuki rolled his eyes as he stood up to put his dish in the sink.
