Life in a crazy house

Chapter 1

"Hey Athena is there anything you would like to tell me? Ana asked. I know we're not close yet."

"Well two years ago my life changed, My Dad died it was the worst day of my life I cried for hours because he was my best friend and I could tell him anything. My mom is ok but she gets so annoying and she always is busy talking to my little sister it always feels like I'm invisible because all my mom does is pay attention to her everything is about her" I said.

" So Athena I hear that you feel like your sister is getting all the attention and I want to help you with that, so anything you want me to do I will help you." Anna said.

"Well there is one more thing you can do for me,"  I said.

She asked, "Well what is it Athena?"

"Well I need to get a job will you be able to help, I asked. My mom won't let me do anything with her"

She said, " of course I will but it will have to be the next time we meet. Thanks for seeing me today I hope you will always see me you will have so much fun!"

"I definitely will and thank you for helping me it's hard to open up bye" I said.

My mom came to pick me up the ride back home was so quiet and lonely there wasn't even music. It felt like my mom was mad at me but I did nothing so I don't know.  We made it home and I went straight to my room because I didn't want to be around anyone.

My mom yelled, "Athena get your ass down here right now!"

I said, " Yes mom"

"Do these dishes before I beat your ass I asked you to do them yesterday and you didn't."

"Ok🙄" I said

"Don't roll your eyes at me ever or I will beat your ass"

I just ignored her after that she didn't even tell me to wash the dishes yesterday and I don't mind doing them I just hate when she yells at me for no reason.  After I was done with the dishes I went to go take a shower but my little sister stopped me!.

"Athena can we hang out please I missed you, Mia said. You have been gone all day and mom acts like I'm the only child and it's annoying."

"Haha yes Mia we can hang out tonight. Do you want to have a movie night?" I asked.

"Yes Ofc I do Athena we should watch some scary movies"

"Okay! Go make some popcorn and then we will go to the store and get some candy," I said.

"Ok."

I got the keys and started the car I waited in there for five minutes because she couldn't find her shoes. When she got in the car I made sure she was buckled and then I drove off. When we got to the store I told her to go in and get some snacks for us, I didn't worry about the price because we have food stamps and there is a lot on that card.

"Athena! I need you to come in!!" She said panting.

"Why what happened is everything ok?" I asked.

"No umm I forgot the thing and the cashier is being rude to me he called me stupid and started to yell at me" she said while tearing up.

"It's ok my love I'm coming in there right now just stand nexts to me ok?"

"Ok thank you" she said.

I went in there to see what the cashier said and what he was doing he looked at Mia and have her a death stare when we went in there, so I went to talk to him.

"Why the hell were you yelling at her and calling her stupid!, you are a grown ass adult she is a little kid your the stupid one for yelling at a little girl!" I said yelling.

Cashier said "well she is dumb because how do you forget a PIN number for a card and I don't care if she's a little kid! I'm just trying to do my job and you guys must be broke if your using a food stamp card!"

"You know what we're leaving this store and your such a bitch and a immature adult saying we're broke look at you your working as a cashier your probably more broke then we are at least I got a good job you look so poor wash your clothes asshole," I said yelling.

We left the store we went to another store and got some snacks we got chips and some candy and two fountain drinks.

"Athena want to watch the act?" Mia said.

"Yeah sure! I love scary movies it looks so good." I said smiling

We ate all our snacks and watched two movies before Mia went to sleep, after Mia went to sleep I just put on a show I watched as a kid because I can't sleep without something playing on the tv.

I woke up to a loud noise coming from the kitchen I went down to see what it was and it was a man in the house!!
