Alexi doesn't realize her fate right now, she is about to go on the stage when Parker comes in and hands her a flower. As she takes it and they hands touch he pulls her into a hug.
"Your gonna do great" Parker tells Alexi.
Alexi's friend, A, cheers in the background. As the pull away Alexi blushes.
"Thank you" Alexi says.
The teacher calls for everyones attention right after. As Parker leaves Alexi is trying to calm down after her crush just did that. She takes a deep breath as the stage starts.
The narrators start reading.
The characters take their places.

As Alexi took her place and started speaking her lines, her eyes catches Parker's. Quickly looking away she continues the show...

The audience's clapping could be heard echoing throughout the school...
The performers bow...
The curtains fall...

"Alexi, you okay?" A ask.
Alexi snapped out of her inner world.
She realizes that she's been in her own world since Parker caught her eye when she was rising from the end bow.
"Yea" She quickly answers before rushing off to change out of her costume.

As she heads towards her family and friends she looks around for Parker. Seeing his mom chatting with her mom, her face flushes red for a second. Taking a deep breath she goes towards them.
Parker notices her first, about to say hi before Alexi was surrounded by her friends.
"Omg that was such a good play, like the costumes!" One says.
"You did so good! Congrats!" Another says.
Alexi could barely tell who said what, her head was for once quiet from thoughts but filled with noise.
She starts joking around with them before she felt something on her shoulder.
Suddenly all the voices stop. Silence fills the section where her family and friends are. The other clusters are muffled out. Alexi could feel her heart beat faster. She turns around and sees someone that brings a blush to her face. The same person her friends have been teasing her about. The person that everyone says likes her while she denies it. Parker.
"Sorry to interrupt your conversation, I just wanted to give you these" he says, handing her a bouquet of red tulips.
Not just tulips.. theres daisies, roses, and white lilies.
"Thank you..." she says. Even though all her friends gave her bouquets this one is different. The flowers mean something.
"PARKER" Someone shouts.
"oh I got to go, talk to you later?"Parker asks.
"Sure" Alexi answers.
As he walked away Alexi feels a blush creeping onto her face. Parker looks back and gives her a small wave to which she returns. Her face gets redder, heart beating faster. Her friend gives her a really smug look before saying
"Those flowers mean something, you know?" She starts out.
"What do you mean?" Alexis asked, confused.
"Like the flower language. Flowers have meanings. Like the daisies they mean "I love you truly"." Her friend continues.
"And why do you know this?" Alexis asked.
"Because I was bored. But anyways Daisies mean "I love you truly", Roses means "I love you", Red Tulips mean "I declare my love", White Lilies mean "my love is pure". " Her friend answers.
Alexi looks away blushing as her friends tease her about how this is basically a love confession. She places over at Parker and catches him looking at her. Her blush went from a light pink to a crimson red in the matter of 3 seconds. Giving him a small wave while the flowers are still in her hand, smiling when he waves back with a large smile on his face.
Suddenly a loud beep goes off above.
"Will all drama students please report to the classroom, thank you."
"oh- I got to go, cya." Alexi says bidding her friends goodbye.
Walking towards the drama room, still holding the bouquet, she bumps into A.
"Is that from Parker???" He asks.
"yea" she answers, the blush visible on her face as A starts teasing her about it.
They enter the room with the other students. The teacher rushes over to tell them how proud he is and how much he loved the play. Giving them information for tomorrow, he explains how and when they will be taking a class photo. Before dismissing them.
Heading back out her friends gather around bidding goodbye as they leave with their families.
Alexi walks to the car with her parents and little sister.
"ALEXI" someone calls.
Turning around she spots Parker.
"THANK YOU FOR THE FLOWERS!" she shouts.
Smiling Parker answers "OF COURSE BYE!" Before getting into the car and waving at her through the window.
Returning the wave, she enters her car with her family and heads back home.
In her room, she throws off her coat. Placing the flowers next to her bed, she flops down on her bed and pulls out her phone. There are over 1000 messages. Alexi just smiles and looks at the flowers.
"Im gonna get teased about this a lot tomorrow" she says out loud before getting ready for bed.
