You woke up nice and early, gathering your stuff up from the room you had it locked up in over the break. It had felt like forever since you'd seen your wand and robes. You wondered why you locked it up but it was the same answer every single time. You knew you felt safe, you knew no one would break in and steal the things that would be useless to them. Deep down you knew you locked them away because of yourself, you didn't want to go fiddling with spells in the muggle world as it was strictly forbidden, if you were caught you would be expelled and that would crush your dreams at teaching in Hogwarts. You finally picked up your wand feeling the way the energy flooded through you, followed by the excitement of finally being able to hold it after the months. You resisted the urge to flick your wrist and cast a spell, if you waited for those months the few hours you had to wait were no biggie.
'Just keep it together, you'll get to cast and chant soon enough.'
You reminded yourself before carefully slipping the wand back into its case and setting it to the side looking through the wardrobe of clothes you would bring, the green jumped out at you. You were a Slytherin and you were proud of it too, you pulled your robe out and pulled it to your chest taking a deep breath in through your nose taking in the scent of Hogwarts, it was such a calming scent for you. You got into a zone just taking in the scent just thinking about what it would be like to wander those halls again, thinking about all your teachers.. thinking about... your last year being there, your last year being able to play around with magic with friends and not have a care in the world. Your last year of casting spells if you couldn't get a job there, your last year of magic altogether.
Your eyes welled up snapping you out of that zone as a warm salty tear rolled down your cheek, you were really crying about it? God you thought you were pathetic, you wiped your tears away looking at the luggage and books shaking your head. What were you thinking? You were a perfect student, perfect grades, and maybe you were a goodie two shoes in front of all the teachers... but so what? You were a dream to a teacher, you were sure all teachers would want students like you. You nodded to yourself taking a deep breath in closing your eyes. They would hire you, you would get the job, there was no point of worrying about that. You could use spells and magic and stay at Hogwarts year round.
After awhile of convincing yourself you glanced at the time taking a mental note of how much longer you had to be fully packed and at the train station, you had three hours left, it took you half a hour to get to the train station. You nodded and packed everything neatly back into your suitcases, thirty minuets passed you nodded to yourself glancing at the time again, you had another two hours until you had to be driving to the station.
You pulled the luggage packed full of books robes, a assortment of green black and white clothes, and of course, your wand. Setting everything down by the front door and heading back upstairs grabbing Isabella your purebred black furred Ragdoll cat, she had the softest fur and the most beautiful emerald green eyes, your parents had bought her for you when you moved out so she could accompany you on your yearly trips to Hogwarts, she wasn't as much help as other animals.. she sorta sat around on your lap all day when you were around. She couldn't carry letters to people. She was just lazy, but she was cute. If you were a animal you always thought you would be just like her, like she was a reflection of you, a spirt animal to say. You kneeled down beside her with a warm smile and stroked her soft fur before scooping her into your arms looking into her green eyes while putting your voice into a babyish tone to speak to her.
'Who's coming to Hogwarts wither her mummy again?? Is it you? I think so!'
She gave a few slow blinks and you pulled her close kissing all over her back before scratching her ears softly. You kissed her head one more time setting her down, running to your closet changing into a pleated skirt, a white blouse and put on a robe branded with a green snake, it was one of your many Slytherin cloaks. You did a little twirl and looked in the mirror smiling before grabbing a purse and folding your robe up neatly and placing it in there, also grabbing your wallet and phone tucking them in there too. You scooped up Isabella and put her into a kennel so you could travel with her to the school and you headed downstairs picking up all the luggage brining it out bit by bit so you could load it into your car. After the chore of loading the car up you locked your front door and then got into your car starting the drive to the station.
Once arriving you took your baggage out of the car and loaded it onto a cart heading over to the wall were you would go to 9¾ for the Hogwarts Express train. You backed up and lined up holding onto your cart before getting a good run up and making to the Hogwarts station, you glanced around and then took your purse off setting with your other baggage and grabbing your cloak out, you put it on and smiled softly taking a long deep breath in before taking your stuff again and walking over to where you would load onto the train.
Some time passed and the train showed up, everyone loaded on and got settled, you settled down after and sat into a seat looking out the window and waited for you magical adventure to start.
