shuri, okoye and her mother were sitting in the dining hall with m’baku and nakia eating dinner when the doors opened and a person dressed in a black skirt, vest and black boots with her short white hair ruffled. 

“you’re back” ramonda said with a delighted tone

“yeah the hovercrafts are fixed up now” 

“and you got changed”

“yeah I was dirty, didn’t want to make a bad first impression” she scratched the back of her head with a sheepish grin

“shuri, okoye, m’baku, nakia, this is seikiya or seiki” 

“nice to meet you all” she smiled as the others nodded back at her

“come sit! you need to eat” she giggled and sat next to ramonda

the group began to chat as they ate. shuri stared at seiki as she spoke with okoye with a weird feeling in her chest. 

“so seiki, how’s it been?”

“its been great. wakanda is gorgeous. i bought this snake ring. its amazing” she held the ring in her hand and smiled.  

“I also saw some amazing suits I want to get later” she told them more before shuri stood and spoke

“I’ll be in my lab” and she left. seiki watched her leave and stood, speaking

“aunty I’m gonna go take a walk”

“alright stay safe”she waved and ran after shuri

“hey shuri!” shuri looked back to see her running over

“oh hi” she stopped and smiled.

“hi! i wanted to ask if maybe I could see your lab?”

“uh sure, cmon” they walked to her lab and went in

“woahhhh!” seiki’s eyes widened as she looked around

“its beautiful” shuri smiled slightly as seiki looked around 

“you’re amazing” seiki complimented as she looked at her

“thank you” shuri blushed a bit but seiki didn’t see as she saw t’challa’s suit. 

“wow” she breathed out as she stood infront of the glass separating her from the suit

“its beautiful.” her emerald eyes glowed slightly causing her to look behind her 

“where….did you find that?” she pointed to a black chain with a snake pendant, a black and emerald snake pendant. 

“my brother did. he got it from killmonger” seiki’s eyes filled with tears

“how?” her voice was small, soft and full of hesitance

“killmonger killed a woman wearing it…” tears fell from seiki’s eyes as she fell to her knees

“sei!” shuri knelt infront of her and held her face to face hers.

“what is it?”

“thats my mother’s necklace…..he killed my mother.” shuri pulled her into her body and comforted her as she cried. eventually she calmed down and looked at shuri

“can I have it?” 

“of course” shuri stood and took the necklace out of the case and rested it in seiki’s hand causing her eyes to glow brightly and her snake tattoos glowed

“woah” seiki sighed and her eyes dimmed. 

“thanks” she put it on around her neck and stood, wiping her tears

“I’m gonna go-”

“wait! um would you like to go for a fly with me?”
