Y1 Vol5: The King Piece

(events from ayanokoji's POV will be during the time when chisato and karma faught, lelouch's are the continuation to the next day)

(Ayanokoji Kiyotaka's POV)

"are you okay" i asked the exhausted honami as she tried to take a few breaths after we ran so far.

i had only just been to the dorm after our class finished training when chisato called me over saying there's trouble.

when i arrived i found a group of seniors ganging up on honami, this was most likely karma's handy work...

"*huff* *huff* i..i am fine" honami responded as she wiped the sweat from her forehead.

"they didn't touch you did they?"

"no, you came just in time actually..." she responded with a saddened look.

i stepped closer to her, i raised my arm all the way to her face and i grabbed her cheek.

"ow ow OW!!" she squeaked in pain as i pinched her cheek.

i let go and looked at her rub the place of the pinch.

"what was that for?!" she asked with a pout.

"nothing, just felt like pinching your cheek" i replied.

she sighed before asking me a more serious question.

"when is it going to end kiyotaka?..."

i stared off into the sky as she finished her words, i guess even she has her limits, chisato told me that only she and some other guy talk with her, the rest don't register her as an existence even, their teacher doesn't pay attention to her either, can't say i am surprised since all of them are working out karma's will whether they know it or not.

i ignored her question and decided to ask her a question.

"would you be happy if you transfered to my class?"

i stared her in the eye as i awaited her response, if she transfers to my class she could be a great asset if not in leadership then in physical work, she is pretty strong within the girls in our school.

she shook her head and said.

"no, i don't want to leave my friends in class B, i want to fix my mistake and get back to being part of the family that was class B"

i sighed, she is still naive and wants to give the best for people even if they threw her away...but that has it's charms.

"alright, then i would like to ask something of you"

she tilted her head as she said.

"hmm? what is it?"

"in the upcoming sports festival i want you to reach the top of your class in terms of results, get 1st place in every game"

"EHHHHHHHHHHH?!! IN EVERY GAME??" she screamed in shock.

"yes, for now let's go back to the dorms, we'll see what to do for that to happen when the festival comes" i said as i walked past her.

she slowly after followed me.

sigh...the only way she will get back to her leadership is if karma succeeds in destroying kanzaki's leadership over class B, when he falls chisato and i will bring ichinose back and use her results and the level of support she gave to the class as evidence of her worthiness, karma will not like that i am sure.

Ichinose needs to be told that her pure heart will bring her downfall if she's not careful...
