『APPEARANCE』

(Y/n) has a physical appearance reminiscent of a typical humanoid female human. She is a giant, tall, slender mermaid with fairly wide hips. She has (S/C) skin, an exposed belly, a small button-nose, and two scar-like markings on the bicep of her left arm (though how or why she got them is unknown, but it could be a reminiscent of eel bite marks).

On her head, she has a dead, (F/C) octopus with pale (S/F/C) eyelids over X-crossed eyes, with (H/L) and lighter (F/C) colouring and pale (S/F/C) suckers under the tentacles. The octopus clearly acts as her hair since the three tentacles in front of (Y/n)'s face are flipped back over her head, resembling curly hair-bangs in a pompadour, while the octopus's head vaguely resembles a hair bun. Although it appears to be dead, the octopus's eyes clearly open during (Y/n) "summoning", revealing simple, black pupils, but when in gorgon form, the tentacles turn to snakes with yellow eyes and black slits.

Cala has big, (F/C) eyes with (S/F/C) eyeshadow and three short, black, triangular eye-lashes each. She also has thin, black eyebrows and light, rose-pink, plump lips.

As a sign of her mermaid status, (Y/n) wears a (F/C) sea-shell bra with no shoulder straps, and her lower body is replaced with a (F/C), fish-like tail with round scales, connected with a water-ripple-like pattern below the waist line and her fin tail is shaped like two small waves split in two with three rounded tips on each side.

In her other form, her skin is greenish, her hair is messy and pointed and the tentacles of the octopus are now snakes with bright yellow eyes that are shown to mirror her expressions and her eyes are at first shown to be a bright (S/F/C), but further in her debut they become (F/C) with slitted pupils. Her teeth are sharper and her tongue is splitted in two in the end.

『PERSONALITY』

(Y/n) appears to be hostile and dangerous, turning all the pirates into stone. She has a no-nonsense, down-to-business attitude, preferring to focus on her career as a sea monster rather than reciprocate the feelings of anyone who loves her. She is also very sassy and snarky, as shown when she flatly calls a cup named Mugman "Dinner" when he was introducing himself to her. Despite this, she is very polite when she gave Captain Brineybe  a 10-second head start before attempting to eat him and his friends. She speaks using a Welsh accent.

(Y/n) also seems to have a strong connection with fish and aquatic animals, as she can summon them at will to help her, and also use the fish as weapons without them apparently caring much.

(Y/n) has a love for singing, which makes sense for her being a possible siren. She also has a kinder side to her that she rarely shows, mostly never showing because of her focus being fixed on her career, her more sweet side makes her more caring and more relaxed though this only happens when she feels like it. This side of her also makes her less snarky and more quiet as it gives her the time to relax.
(Y/n) can be playful when she's feeling more on the brighter side, but not to be trifled with. (Y/n) can be a flirty and vivacious being

『ABILITIES』

Petrification
(Y/n) can turn people into stone simply by staring at them. Any damage sustained by the victim in this state will become permanent once they return to normal. Captain Brineybeard is the only known person who manages to free himself from the effect due to his intense love for her

Aquatic adaptation

(Y/n) is a natural swimmer and can presumably breathe underwater

Enhanced strength
(Y/n) is incredibly strong due to her size, and her tail is powerful enough to create tidal waves and smash ships to splinters

She can blow kisses powerful enough to dislodge a ship from rocks and send it out to sea

『Captain Brineybeard』

She had once dated him before the events of her debut. Brineybeard has intense feelings for (Y/n) which was strong enough to break out of petrification. At first, she was crude towards the pirate, petrifying him after claiming he "talked too much" and had issues remembering his name and was only able to remember their date upon being reminded of what they had for dessert which was tiramisu. However, she is flattered at his offering to her, and felt remorse for petrifying him, even kissing his statue form in gratitude, but was shocked when he broke out of it from his love for her. And while she is appreciative of his gestures, she puts her career first and believes it would never work between them. She even admitted that she planned to eat him on their first date, but didn't have one since she "filled up on tiramisu". She even gave him a 10 second head start to flee before she tries to eat them, and blows him a kiss powerful enough to dislodge his ship from a rock clump

『Mugman』

He was the first to catch her attention when he applauded her singing. Though, their interaction is short, she's shown to be frank and surly with him; instead of listening for his name; she interrupts him, calling him dinner off the bat, and groans in impatience when he tries to explain why they were in her domain. Despite this, he appears to have a fair amount of infatuation towards her, given that she is used in his fantasy while reading his book
